Inspired by Cameron Paul’s “in the mix 86” and “late great 88”, I sought to make thst style of medley/powermix covering songs over 20 years. I picked my favorites from what was on radio to keep it familiar and also intended to layer the tracks in a way that it was difficult to tell where there songs were coming in and out. There’s about 168 songs used for this. I ran it for 45 mins in honor of Cameron Paul and his signature 45 mins power mixes that aired twice nightly in 1988 and 1989’on KMEL. I also used his remix versions as well. Enjoy.
