Aging punk rocker from Portland, Oregon — firing off raw tracks with one eye on the chaos and the other on the clock. Too left for the Right, too right for the Left, and too left for the Right.

Combining the terseness and angst of 90s plaid-clad guitar rock with the jingle of 60s garage pop, Dark Oz describes itself as "garunge." It has gone through multiple mutations, beginning as a solo acoustic project and then going through a markedly punk-induced intense period of recording and touring with Lorien Bourne (a.k.a. Styx) on drums before reverting to a solo acoustic act after her death. Dark Oz reformed with a full lineup in 2017.
