French powerhouse trio of Automatic Writing finally joins our mix series displaying their boundless love for electronic music and everything in between. After having previously been onboard for our Live Moments series, now former members Jacan & Guillermo Jamas are joined by Darween to complete the trio, making of them paladins - or should we say musketeers - of the house nation. Their sound, which is perfectly reflected on the self-titled imprint, merges edgy minimal sounds with retro-house vibes and deep sonorities, embracing any side of the limitless electronic panorama.

Darween [Automatic Writing, FR] - Little Creatures 010, Pt. II

For the twenty-fifth edition of our OUFFFCAST series, we have the sincere pleasure to welcome french selector and co-founder of Automatic Writing - Darween! 

Darween is a DJ who's been on our radar for some time know. Exhibiting a wide musical repertoire that spans a multitude of genres, Darween has gained our admiration for his eclectic taste, flawless mixing skills and captivating ingenuity. 

In 2016, Darween founded Automatic Writing with a couple of friends. With releases from emerging producers like Sweely, Gab Jr., Charonne and Murphie Cooper, the label has quickly become a mainstay in many records bags around the globe. Sweely's "Beauty is Random EP" is arguably one of the best releases of 2019 to date and we can't wait to see what cards Automatic Writing have up their sleeves in the future. All we know is that it's gonna be good.

We are honoured to share an hour of flawlessly mixed gems from Darween's collection. Enjoy and have fun listening!

Sometimes I'm Blue Vol.6

Darween is part of the collective Automatic Writing in Paris together with Jacan & Guillermo Jamas which in turn are the representation of emerging artists in the Parisian scene. 

One could say that my relationship with them started as merely professional but it is surely deeper than that. Having facilitated bookings to their events caught my attention as, like me, they too have a great diversity in their musical taste, they go from Nicolas Lutz to Ion Ludwig to Akufen, an identity which is totally in line with ours at Toi Toi. 

With that said, it is with pleasure that we offer our platform and welcome Darween to present us with this amazing set.
