After having previously been onboard for our Live Moments series, now former members Jacan & Guillermo Jamas are joined by Darween to complete the trio, making of them paladins - or should we say musketeers - of the house nation. Their sound, which is perfectly reflected on the self-titled imprint, merges edgy minimal sounds with retro-house vibes and deep sonorities, embracing any side of the limitless electronic panorama.

A pillar of the Danish underground, Markovela has crafted an enviable position in a scene that only comes with having countless locked-in dancefloor moments under his belt. Moving the Scandinavian scene on a glacial level, few have had the level of input into the musical landscape than this next level digger. Cherishing his domestic scene as if an extension of his own flesh and blood, Markovela pours love and affection on the dancefloor with each passing transition and the connection that is established could not be more heartfelt. 

Throughout the full run time of this mix the thread of emotion could not be more cohesive. The 'Datsha' LP is a curated collection of 11 tracks, handpicked from hundreds crafted during a creative surge in 2020 to bring life to the unique ambiance of Datsha Underground, a beloved Parisian hideaway. The result is a deeply atmospheric, jazz-tinged trip-hop journey that recalls the vibes of artists like Gramatik and Nightmares on Wax, as well as Mark Farina's iconic Mushroom Jazz series.

Under this new moniker he is keen to explore some of his foremost influences, drawing upon inspiration from the heady days of Trip-Hop and channeling his production credentials into a new sound.

For his first-ever published mix as Amine Laje, Romain Poncet crafts a deeply immersive journey through jazz-infused beats, melancholic textures, and raw, intuitive soundscapes.

The mix showcases a lot of unreleased songs that were created for the restaurant Datsha in Paris, alongside some tracks from the eponymous album.
