Free (The Editorial Me)

Life is full of changes, some of them might be triggered by something just as simple & beautiful as meeting people of a similar mind-set. Sandy Rivera’s & Rae’s acquaintance and mutual admiration for Zero 7 fused an idea which resulted in two years of studio time uncovering a whole new perspective of an already legendary duo – a full bodied chill-out album. KOTRAE – that’s the name of a new face which went through multiple recording sessions featuring four keyboard players, three bass guitars, three acoustic guitars, sax players and a drummer. Inspired, only two days after the idea has sparked, Sandy gave 8 raw tracks to Rae. First caught by surprise and thinking Sandy was going crazy, soon after she responded with the lyrics for every one of the tracks. Now 5 years later with Rae’s career lifted to the global highs and Sandy’s non-stop performances around the globe & releases firing the sales charts of biggest music distributors, it’s time to reveal what KOTRAE is all about. Now all they need is a couple of weeks of extra studio time for re-doing some vocals, getting the final mixes done and it can be a go. Your feedback is very appreciated and will help us along the way. Here is a small teaser of what we’ve done. We hope you like it.
