As she stands alone on the frozen terrain, her breath fogging up the inside of her helmet, the music of "Last Contact" begins to weave its narrative. The piece opens with a pulsating electronic rhythm, mimicking the steady beat of her heart as she processes the data. Synthesized melodies emerge, capturing the sterile beauty of the digital interface she interacts with.

Strings and orchestral elements gradually layer over the electronic foundation, symbolizing the emotional weight of her mission. Sylex is a musical journey by visual artist and synthesist Darwin Foye.
