90 Degree is a “Reggae Dancehall Sound System” based in Sicily, Milan & Barcelona playing in a Sound System style, all kinds of genres of Jamaican music enhanced by several custom made dubplate & specials with a mission to promote Reggae Dancehall Music and Culture. 

The Sound System was set up by Prof and Jimmy in the city of Ragusa, Sicily, Italy with the intention of organizing pioneering events with the first dancehall reggae crews of South-Eastern Sicily. In 2006 and 2007 after the international festival "Pon De River", hosting Jamaican artists, 90 Degree organized a historic concert: Capleton backed by David House Band from Jamaica.

90 Degree is both a sound system but also as an independent label: in 2007 "90 Degree Records" prints in Jamaica the 7-inch vinyl format on the instrumental "Flirt" and in 2012 produces "Wish Yu Riddim”. 
Manjah Fyah joined the collective in 2007 expanding the sound to Amsterdam, with weekly and monthly events, with local crews and artists, promoting both European and overseas guests, bringing 90 Degree sound to the international level.

In 2008 the crew was equipped with self-built amplification and designed specifically for the sounds of reggae and dancehall music: "Sound System”. With his undefined experience Junior Rico (formerly Kebana Crew) entered the 90 family in 2011 bringing his versatile MC-Style. Resident in Milan, Jr Rico appears in all the main dancehall spots of the city.

2014 marks the repatriation of Manjah Fyah in the land of Sicily and Prof also moved to Barcelona, allowing his activity as a freelance audio engineer.

During the years 90 Degree organised many dancehalls, concerts and events, promoting and working with national and international sound systems and great names of the Reggae Dancehall business. The sound has had the opportunity to perform in various "yards" around the world such as Germany, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Malta, Turkey, everywhere in Italy and Holland. Central America Tour, Australia, Cina Tour, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Thailand and he had the honor of playing in Ethiopia (Addis Ababa & Shashamene) and in Jamaica (Port Antonio, Portland).

In 2023 the crew celebrated its 20 years anniversary organising 3 different shows with Alborosie, Eek A Mouse and the first "90 Degree Sound Fest" with Jah Mason. In 2024 90 Degree was invited to perform at the Rototom Festival in Spain, the biggest Reggae Festival in Europe!

To date, the unstoppable activity of promotions and events continues on a monthly and weekly basis, as well as the various transfers in national and international yards.
