As we kick off the new year with RESONANCE, we’re revisiting one of the highlights of 2024: Franco Rossi’s unforgettable DJ set at RESONATE on September 21, 2024.

Step into the underground pulse of Berlin with this immersive two-hour set recorded at our last RESONATE. Blending raw, unfiltered techno with minimal grooves and a distinct atmospheric touch, the set takes listeners on a journey through intensity and depth.

I launched @linked_techno in November 2019, this past event marked our 5 years of duty.

I’m filled with pride for what we’ve built together, and the atmosphere during the event was nothing short of electric. Both floors were with packed with an open-minded and diverse crowd, coming together to create something truly special. Your consistent support is appreciated.

Here are some audio highlights of my set from LINKED. Many of you have asked why I don’t record videos in the club; the truth is, I prefer to focus on the raw energy of the music and the crowd, cherishing the moment in the space rather than capturing it through a screen.

When I started playing I was nervous as usual. After the first two or three transitions I was immediately in my tunnel. Especially early in the morning I play very driving, hypnotic and spacey tunes. Up and down with a few tracks in the middle that get the audience's full attention and back into deep tracks. I use to layer many minimalistic tracks as in this set. I hope you like it and maybe I can capture you a bit in the club feeling that I have created.

Daryn Steytler is a techno producer from Cape Town/Stellenbosch, South Africa, known for his underground sound that features intricate drum rhythms, raw grooves and modular sequences influenced by his drumming background. As the founder and director of LINKED, an event company that feeds into the ever growing techno scene in Cape Town. He uses his residency at Mødular night club to push his sound and other artists. He also runs an independent label KONCEPT, drawing inspiration from the vibrant atmosphere of LINKED events. His music has been released on notable labels such as BCCO in Berlin, Trauma in Portugal, and DUPLICITY Records in the UK, among others.
