Coming off the back of his critically acclaimed Indigo LP, Icelandic Techno producer Exos drops a fresh EP full of his organic electronic grooves.
A1 harks back to the days of a simple, driving, and addictive acid tracks, followed by some deeply hypnotic, icy rhythms on A2. The flipside’s B1 introduces a spiraling synth motif, its climatic effect another prime example of Exos’ unparalleled skill of pairing the sublime with the straight-forward.
Slowing things down quite a bit, the vinyl’s last track balances between atmospheric details and gorgeous basslines, conjuring up a mystical downbeat scenery.
Fashioned in much the same kind of organic texture, the digital bonus track builds upon the enchanted vibes for another percussive excursion into unchartered psychedelic territory.

POST PARANOIA takes us on another mental trip where chilling temperatures intertwine with deep, hypnotic, and captivating rhythms.
The goal remains the same as in his previous EPs: deliver enigmatic tracks that weave intricate layers of sounds, for transporting you to the depths of your consciousness.
The title is inspired by the constant monitoring temperature required for growing a particular species of mushrooms.

The EP also features a special remix by the talented emerging artist DIT-ZY, adding a unique perspective to POST PARANOIA's landscape.
He brings a fresh outlook, infusing "23°" with intriguing sonic textures and a captivating vibe.
As always, POST PARANOIA invites you to lose yourself in his mental melodies, pulsating rhythms, and dark soundscapes that defy conventional boundaries.

French DJ and producer Hemka makes a striking solo debut on Mutual Rytm with 'Introspection’.

Born in Marseille and based in Paris, Hemka has been shaping her take on techno for over a decade, steadily growing her international presence with music on respected imprints such as Token. Her music fuses the raw energy of 90s techno with modern textures and is fast-paced, groovy and laced with subtle psychedelia. By weaving in her own vocals, Hemka adds a deeply personal and authentic layer that resonates with both the body and mind. Following the strong reception of her track 'Fragrance' on the ‘Federation Of Rytm III’ compilation, this potent new EP is a powerful reflection of her bold, emotional and forward-thinking artistic voice and the start of an exciting new chapter with SHDW’s Mutual Rytm.

‘Abyss’ kicks off with tightly coiled, heavy-hitting drum funk and eerie synths that never let up while ghoulish vocals layer in extra darkness and anxiety. ‘Time’ is another sleek, stripped-back but banging wedge of linear techno excellence and ‘I Can't Shine’ layers up paranoid vocals with high-speed glitches and rubbery drums to ensure maximum impact in the club. The excellence continues with ‘The Bad Place’ with booming drums and moody synth atmospheres, getting you up on your toes and keeping you there. Last, ‘Unchanged’ fizzes with static electricity as wordless vocals refract around the mix next to wispy synths and icy hi-hats. Digital bonus cuts ‘Voice In My Head’ and ‘Eternity’ round things out with more heady and intense techno for driving deep into the night.

Daryn Steytler is a techno producer from Cape Town/Stellenbosch, South Africa, known for his underground sound that features intricate drum rhythms, raw grooves and modular sequences influenced by his drumming background. As the founder and director of LINKED, an event company that feeds into the ever growing techno scene in Cape Town. He uses his residency at Mødular night club to push his sound and other artists. He also runs an independent label KONCEPT, drawing inspiration from the vibrant atmosphere of LINKED events. His music has been released on notable labels such as BCCO in Berlin, Trauma in Portugal, and DUPLICITY Records in the UK, among others.
