We are delighted to announce the first vinyl and digital release of our label: Lost in Translation! Out on December 6th, Anthroposcene’s atmospheres were written and composed across studios in Georgia, the Czech Republic, Canada, the Netherlands, the United States, and Belgium – our home.

Anthroposcene was built track by track, providing a space for each artist to draw inspiration from the last, and continue the story of the release in their own musical voice. The result is a sonic tapestry reflecting the talents and styles of the hand-picked selection of artists we were lucky to have join us on this project. The release will be accompanied by a full-length short story inspired by the music and artwork.

The line-up includes people we have long looked up to, and it is a cool moment for us to announce @saphileaum, @fred-czital, @humanspacemachine, @martinou3000, @owlfromdeepspace, Moon Patrol (@gilleswasserman & @irina-kotik) and @orcasilent as Lost in Translation’s first contributing artists.

A special thanks to @azidax for the mastering work, and Ohneweil for the artwork.

'Convection of Consciousness' opens with a mid-tempo groove, slowly building anticipation as its alternating chords weave an addictive, hypnotic pattern. The clean production enhances the track’s captivating flow. 'Perspective' takes a dub techno approach, incorporating elements of house music. Its stabbing chords are perfectly paired with shimmering aquatic effects, making it one of the catchiest tracks on the release. Mitry’s Parallels marks the 125th episode of the Mood Series, delivering four atmospheric and soothing tracks that perfectly embody their titles. The EP excels in creating vivid soundscapes, inviting listeners into calming, meditative spaces.
The title track, 'Parallels', opens with a breezy, scenic atmosphere. A low-slung BPM carries a rolling bass, conjuring the sensation of a cool beach breeze. PREMIERE: Tys - Sofa Story [Simpler Times]

Das Blaue Monster (Cologne, Germany) is a Live-Techno-Duo. The boy at the knobs, the girl at the microphone. It has quite some stuff on stage: sequencers, samplers, synths and effects. No laptops – no nonsense. Its music consists of some dub-delays, some deep basslines, some preprogrammed loops and a lot of live-tweaking (also on the german lyrics). When performing live, it often acts on instinct, depending on the situation and the very moment. It can be nice and easy or tough and bitchy, but most of all it just wants to play an have fun.
