Hailing from the lands that brought the world new beat, Helsmoortel saw the light after a couple of musical and hedonic explorations. Influenced by 90s boom bap hip hop, rave, jungle, techno and drum and bass, he looks forward to push the feelings that these genres gave him as a small-town boy, into a new aesthetic era. He loves to intersperse hard-hitting drums and distorted sounds with exciting melodies that take hold of the dance floor. His motto is: Nothing is certain, anything goes.

With a fitting title considering the turn of the New Year, ’Twenty Twos' featured here, is a hard hitting techno track built punchy drums lines, rave stabs and offset toms that will get any dancefloor merchant get moving.
