When two architects of the French club scene merge their sensibilities, the result is nothing short of a shockwave. Lorkestra, a key figure in the UKG and Afro-electronic sphere, and Mabrada, an explorer of Brazilian textures and Miami bass, lock into a shared frequency to deliver a scorching track. Built on instinctive synergy and a mutual vision of the dancefloor, the track weaves the jagged syncopations of baile funk with the elastic rhythms of UK garage. Bridging the gap between London and São Paulo, this collaboration distills a hybrid groove, engineered for the most demanding sound systems. A fluid, necessary collision that captures the essence of two ever-evolving scenes.

sounds, artists, and scenes. This new series is a tribute to them.

With this first volume, Anaco highlights the deep connections between two major hubs of European electronic music: Spain and France — two countries close to her heart, as she embodies both cultures.

Bringing together 10 tracks from 12 artists, this compilation showcases diverse interpretations of club music & redefines what shapes the club sound today. It highlights the influence of artists from Latin America, North Africa, and the French overseas territories, who are essential to the evolution of today’s European club scene.

The proceeds from this compilation will be fully donated to OST – Organisation de Solidarité Trans, an association that advocates for the rights, protection, and well-being of trans and non-binary people, providing essential support in the face of systemic discrimination and violence in an increasingly hostile global context.

Vancouver/Paris -based imprint Club Designs is back with its biggest compilation to date.

CDMUSIC012, the latest in the label's ongoing series of electro inspired VAs, boasts an eclectic mix of producers from across the globe, paying their respect to the classic Detroit genre.

The compilation features music from Vancouver heroes Greazus, French DMC champion Saligo, Berlin’s Insomniast, and label alumni Shanx, alongside label co-founders Sharkki, who teams up with hot French producer Body Hook, and Garneau who brings a deeper cut to the pack.

Tokyo newcomer Kanse keeps it old school, while Aleister and Minor Sine Project bring the modern productions into play. Sonically, the release traverses the full scope of the imprint's sound, with streamlined percussive club tracks, bass-heavy workouts, and leftfield electro explorations that nod to both UK club culture and North America's undergrounds.

Club Designs has been steadily building a reputation as a stronghold of gritty and raw dance music, and CDMUSIC012 sounds like both a rallying cry and a celebration of the collective energy that powers the label.
