New heat from UK grime producer @fork-and-knife who has gain support from some of Uk’s biggest dance music radio stations; BBC Radio 1, Rinse, Represent just to name a few. Fork & Knife sent us his latest grime track sampling Daniel Bedingfield's 00’s smash hit “Gotta Get Thru This”; Fork & Knife takes the intro melody and reworks the whole track around it with some heavy hitting drums, wobble bassline groove and some synth stabs over a stripped back grime beat. If you’re feeling nostalgic and want to travel back to the early days of the Uk underground music scene then this song will take you back into your feels.

Hey you, we got West London on the phone here! Hah ;) We are too glad to continue UK vibe on our show and today in the mix 18 years old producer and DJ - Arfa!

Despite his age, I really think he already developed his own style. He has been producing for 4 years already and started to Dj-ing only last year. As he sad he hadn't grown up hearing much UK Garage, so he wasn't too familiar with it. But when he started to dive into it he fell in love with the sound.

"At first I was taking inspiration from a lot of the older artists like Mj Cole, Sunship, El-b etc, and I still really enjoy their music a lot. But I started to hear a lot of the newer garage that was coming out from artists like IZCO, Kobe JT, Felix, Bakey etc, and I was so inspired. And all these artists are still huge inspirations for me, I wouldn't be making and DJing the music that I am now if it wasn't for them!" 

We got information that he is planing to release a UKG&Jungle album at the end of this year, so you should definitely monitor his activity! Make sure you are following him on SoundCloud!

We have been playing in NewOnce Bar on 12 of September. It is the one of the coolest places to listen to music in Warsaw, if accidentally you was here before 22, the last half and hour, we were secretly presenting his mix and it was really dope to see people bouncing to it. I was imagining like Arfa standing near us and playing it by himself. You know, just some little pleasure in my head. One day we will bring him to Warsaw! Keep locked! Spread the vibe!
