Homicidal Lunacy was a song I've always loved and wanted to cover, back when I first started making music, I wanted to cover this, but I could never get satisfied with how it sounded, this song technically took over a year to make and I finally got satisfied with this version. THIS ONE'S ACTUALLY COMPLETELY NEW FOR ONCE HOLY SHIT

I have in fact fallen into the trap of making BIG SHOTs for anything and everything I can think of, obviously including other Deltarune characters themselves! This one was mainly inspired by the Queen BIG SHOTs that were already around, to try and make something stylistically distinct from the lot of them. Whether I succeeded I can't necessarily say! But I can at least say that I like how this one turned out.

Additionally I'm just proud of myself for NOT falling into the trope of forcing voice lines in that probably wouldn't fit the vibes of the song.

Rouxls Kaard's theme is used here because I guess for some reason I decided the Jevil replacement shouldn't be King, but rather Rouxls. Probably because I'm heavily biased towards Rouxls. He Rouxls, okay?

i had to buy next pro to fix that audio clipping, my god soundcloud hates me

highly recommend checking out the rest of Modtro64 and GoatFromTheStars work, they have some pretty good stuff!

at first, i was trying to go in like a "50s" inspired remix since radiola's whole aesthetic is based around a waitress from a 1950s diner, but it ultimately became more closely styled to the club remix that GoatFromTheStars also made. but to stay in the spirit of things, i sampled a couple of some elvis/chuck berry songs, especially since a diner would typically have a jukebox, which is sorta like a radio.

some of this is transcribed by ear. at the time, there was no midi or anything to go off of, which kinda stifled my motivation to cover it for a bit, but thanks to NekoTape's midi they released, i was able to finish it

admittedly, the mixing could use some work, its not my cleanest cover but im still trying to get better at that

i made this cover a while ago but never uploaded it until now because 1. the mixing felt empty i guess and 2. i wanted to make good looking track art for it. maybe this art is good enough?
i could not find much of a consistent ref of this character LOL but i tried.
