DETOURNEY is an Undertale AU based on and set in an alternate timeline of Escape from the Dark World in which the tournament never continued past WR2.

Lancer begins to have second thoughts about humoring the Lightners, and calls off the tournament. With no hope of them returning to their home worlds, they spread out across the Dark World and find a place to call their own. Barney has a premonition of what will happen if this imbalance between light and dark persists, and brings it upon himself to get the gang back together.

Rouxls Kaard is the Toriel replacement. Once Barney makes it to the door barring Rouxls’s domain from the rest of the Card Kingdom, Rouxls flips the script and fights to keep Barney from following through with his plan to reunite everyone. Rouxls has gotten much too comfortable calling the shots for things to go back to the way they were.

Lancer rides in on a motorcycle and spontaneously combusts. 

L: * The Bad Guy.
* You CLOWNS made a big mistake coming into this room!
* Because now, you must play a game!
* A MINIGAME which will leave all of you THRASHED!!

The big red button appears falls from the sky and explodes.

L: * Press this button, and face your doom!!!

Susie presses the button and it makes a splat noise. 

L: * You beat it.

Upon leaving and re-entering the room...

* Ho Ho Ho!
* So you CLOWNS are back for more?!
* This time I have a new game prepared for you.

Suddenly, a screen drops from the sky, and an explosion occurs, and Susie is given a controller.

On the screen, you control a square with a single moving dot. It was extremely easy to avoid.

This really isn't the world's hardest game, is it?

This came third place in the most recent music poll! This poll was entirely based on Chapter 4, its characters and its songs. This song is not attached to any pre-existing AU, but serves as a hypothetical track for Deltarune: Chapter 4, if Rouxls Kaard were to have more of a presence.

With nobody in the Dark World who truly takes on a leaderly position, Rouxls Kaard finds himself in a strange position. With no one to be a right-hand man to, Rouxls ends up taking it upon himself to take control, dressing up as a bishop and going on some sort of power-trip as he realizes nobody stands a chance to stop him.

Except, of course, those dreaded Lightners.

This is a sort of "AT WORLDS' EDGE" part 2 but not really. i've been listening to a lot of "battle #" lately, and I thought that I should give it a try. it's very much inspired by "Accept Everything (Battle 3)" by @airenn-171 so go give it a listen (it's sooooo good)
