<p>Danny Fontana touches down with no less than four offerings, straight out the handbook of claustrophobic episodes.&nbsp; The looped-out title track opens the EP, boasting metallic riffs and slowly evolving into a frantic synth maelstrom.&nbsp; &#8220;A Long Side&#8221; continues in a slightly more subliminal vibe with soaring electronics and mutated vocal snippets, leading to the effect-laden &#8220;Latex&#8221; which keeps adding momentum with menacing stabs.&nbsp; &#8220;Reptile&#8221; seals the deal with huge, mutated pads that eventually give way to a climax of disjointed arpeggios.</p>

<p>The remixes of Frankyeffe&#8217;s rendition of this classic are in, and are ready to be unleashed. After the original, Loco &amp; Jam step up with their looped-out version that boasts a spacious arrangement and epic overtones. Tom Hades adds a grinding rhythm section to keep things moving alongside tasty stabs and passes the torch to Thomas Evans, who reinvents the affair in his trademarked, inimitable style.</p>

We welcome one of our favourites back for RSPKT153: Luca Gaeta. The lead track 'Calipso' presents dreamy, ethereal pads and a grinding saw riff tied together in an ingenious arrangement that does the opposite of what you'd expect, but feels so right doing it.
The B-side 'Alkaline' is a much darker affair, with discordant, arpeggiated fragments scattered across a booming platform of bottom end. Luca is back with a bang on this one!
