The EVOLution September '19 Part 2

Making his return on Dusty Grooves we have Chris Gialanze providing us with an EP this time around! Two tech house groovers 'Interstellar' and 'Odetta' are backed with remixes from Killed Kassette, ENSALL and Duskope. Chris Gialanze has really shown the chunkier side of his production on the release and is forever showcasing what an amazing producer. We're also proud to have Killed Kassette debut on Dusty Grooves after many amazing releases on some of the best labels around. Label head honcho ENSALL has also added his own touch to Interstellar on a more 'spaced out' vibe. Duskope also returns to the label to provide his hop hop influenced cut of 'Odetta'.

The dark lord of booty thumping tech house returns to the label again with a monstrous sophomore EP that perfectly represents his signature spook magic flavor. Susio traveled to the future and brought us back an array of synthesizers and arrangements that will soon be the hottest sound in dance music.

The title track is a mean spirited churner with a deep, growling bass line paired with layers of sinister vocal work. Susio offers us his personal brand of disorienting synths that dance around the beat on a journey of funk. The thickness of this jam is enough reason to pump the volume and let the sound system go berserk. 

Get Loose on the B-Side is a match made in house heaven with a mesmerizing bass line and vocals that command the crowds to move. The focus of this track is to send the listeners into hypnosis with symptoms of increased body movement in the form of two step boogie moves.

DJ Susan gives the EP it's cherry on top with an acid inspired tech house thumper. An instant classic groove with subtle acid layers puts us in a six minute dance off to a wicked soundtrack. It's not an easy job stepping up and matching Susio's unique style and sound; it's clear that DJ Susan took this remix seriously.

Susio - Berserk Ft. Delos (Original Mix)

We welcome two new members to the Saved family this month in the form of Argentinian DJ and producer, Jay De Lys and Scottish DJ and producer, Jamie Roy, who present their ‘Savorlatino’ EP. Between them the pair have released on respected labels; Toolroom, Kaluki, Repopulate Mars and Lost Records and have gathered the respect of DJ’s far and wide, most notably, Solardo, Lee Foss, Leftwing : Kody and Marco Carola as well as playing at shows across the globe. Their debut EP kicks off with title track, ‘Savorlatino’ which combines a deep bass groove with soulful chords, delicate vocals and playful drums. ‘Loveland’ completes the EP, enticing listeners with its complex percussive rhythms, rise and fall bass line, expertly manipulated chopped vocal samples and intricate synth patterns.
