“When I signed SCNTST (Bryan Müller) he was about to turn 17 years old and by that time he was already making really good techno, house and breaks tracks. BNR released his first 2 EPs “Monday” and “Premelodic Structures” and he started touring the world. Within the following 2 years his production skills and taste developed into an open electronic sound which beauty is to combine basically anything possible. Bryan grew up in Germany outside of Munich and quit his school early to commit 100% to his love of making music. DIGITAL TEST Vol. I – V.A. is the first release in a new series of exclusive digital projects.

For this inaugural compilation, 27 artists come together under the minimalist spectrum that defines Bohrium. Some are already part of the Family, while others are making their debut here.

The release moves between hypnotic grooves, broken beats, and raw textures, while also exploring more experimental directions beyond Bohrium's most recognizable sound.

Releasing in 2025, DIGITAL TEST Vol. I lays the groundwork for this new project that will continue to develop throughout 2026, marking a new creative phase for the label.

The album kicks off the burning cosmic plod of ‘Like You’ before breaching more sturdy and metallic territories with tracks like ‘Green Room’ and ‘Control’. We premiere today ‘Another Source’, which carries a completely irresistible step to it before the tightly wound 808 drums of ‘Cosmic Warfare’ whip through rich, capacious pads, its a welcome addition to our Debut Transmission series.

He put out my very first record in 2005, and I put out his first music as Trevino on 3024. We always stayed in touch, but life, touring, and generally being busy made it harder and harder to spend quality time together. After his passing, I once again realized the importance of putting more effort into friendships and not let the people you love turn into ’Facebook contacts’. That's what this song is about for me. As much as this track is made in memory of Marcus, it is also dedicated to the city of Manchester, a place I very much enjoy being, with a music scene that is thriving and supportive of each other in hard times.
