New projects are always exciting and the 20/20 Editions label is establishing itself as a great label.

With two fantastic releases under their belt, they are now proud to present the third by a man who knows a thing about hard work and dedication in Data Transmission firm favourite Denney. Hailing from Leeds, he risen through the ranks to achieve global support, now regularly producing and DJing with legends of the scene. With a unique sound, incorporating everything from UK rave culture to futuristic electronica, his music is far from predictable and these two original tracks which highlight the eternity of the Roland TB-303 are no different.

The release opens with todays Debut Transmission ‘Bambuco’, a track laced with tight percussion, infectious acid lines and ravey stabs. All of this works alongside a relentless bassline and driving hi-hats to make the perfect dancefloor track. The EP finishes with a remix of ‘Bambuco’ from 20/20 Vision family member, The Mekanism, which is pretty special!

One of the most exciting up and coming artists of recent times, Detlef makes his debut on the mighty Hot Creations with his ‘Kinky Tail EP’ featuring three jacking bombs plotting a riot on the dancefloor. After recenly appearing on our podcast you will know his production career thus far tends to veer in the direction of the dancefloor and having seriously impressed with releases on the likes of release music on respected labels such as Be As One, Material Series and VIVa MUSiC we had high hopes that his mix for us would be crafted on a similarly sumptuous tip.

Greece native Detlef labelled the ’Kinky Tail’ release "a mythical monster that has been hiding in my studio for a long time. The tracks in this EP revolve around kinky basslines with short musical interludes which combine to keep an underground feel and work great on the dancefloor too.”

Hot Creations welcome an incredible collaboration from four of the house scene’s most talked about artists, as Jean Pierre, Jesse Calosso, Harvard Bass and Kid Enigma team up on the mighty Krispy.

The release begins with the driving, high-tempo title cut. A raw kick is complemented by the infectious vocals from Kid Enigma, as whistling keys are aided by intermittent pads. Bogus completes the EP in a similar fashion: pronounced kicks merge on whip-like percussion, as the BPM ratchets up with the help of fizzing hi hats and another pumping vocal.

Jean Pierre is no stranger to the production realm, having found fame on some of the scenes most respected imprints, including Cuttin Headz, Defected and Desolat. Another affiliate of The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin Headz, Jesse Calosso has released a selection of quality releases on the label, as well as a standout EP on Tuskegee. Harvard Bass’ knack for the perfect dancefloor melody has been picked up by the biggest labels in the game including Relief, Turbo Recordings, Saved, Do Not Sleep and VIVA Music. Having worked with many of his contemporaries in recent years, Kid Enigma has previously collaborated with Mat.Joe and Nathan Barato, releasing on the likes of Kaluki and Defected in the process. He also released on Hot Creations earlier this year, featuring on the huge Back & Forth from DJ Sneak and Jesse Perez.
