Dissolut - Keep It Moving [Wh0 Worx]

Bio:
Despite the many weird and wonderful submissions they get from Joe Public at Data Transmission – think everything from bottles of homemade hooch to used underwear – Data Transmission freely admit that we were most surprised to receive a cassette accompanied by a polaroid photo of alphabetti spaghetti spelling out ‘I AM RON MEXICO’ in the post at the tail end of last year. Intrigued, DT dusted off their Walkman and gave the tape a listen to find that what was on offer, was, well…surprisingly good!!! They then set about finding him online, only to find that there was not a single mention of him on the internet.

Several weeks passed and having written Ron Mexico off as an elaborate prank concocted by the over active imagination of one of their many friends with far too much time on their hands, Data Transmission didn’t expect to hear from him again. Then the postman delivered a bottle of tequila every day for twelve days. A postcard then followed, with the following message inscribed in Spanish “Now you’re suitably inebriated, perhaps we can talk on Facebook”. One brief chat later, Data Transmission had arranged for Ron to come with us to burgeoning snow festival, Rise, wherein we’d meet the mysterious selector in the flesh for the first time. His rider, predictably contained a variety of mescal, alongside “1 semi-inflated inflatable shark, a frozen banana and a copy of the Karate Kid on VHS”. The time in the French Alps with a masked Ron was fleeting and having ingested what we’d consider a potentially lethal amount of Mexican spirits, Ron Mexico left as much of an enigma as he’d arrived.

6 years on and Ron Mexico became the selector of all music for Data Transmission

After some gentle coaxing and assurances by Hobbs (UK) that he wouldn’t bring any “cameras or cops” ‘Ron’ instructed him to meet him at London’s St. Katharine’s Dock at 10.47 AM precisely with the promise he’d see him. And see him he did. Arriving by jetski, the still masked Mr. Mexico disembarked on to a pontoon wherein they set about creating 'Scolarisé à Domicile'.

Born and raised in a small town in the south of Germany, Luis and Sorin came together to form Dissolut through their love and passion for electronic music both on headphones and on the dancefloor. 

Writing and producing together, they have been releasing music on labels including Toolroom, Sola, Realm, Superfett, Get Twisted, District9, Armada Deep, Distortion, Stashed Music and more since early in 2019. 

Their sound takes you on a journey on the dancefloor from early morning starts to early morning finishes. Through house, tech & progressive to minimal movement and grooves you will hear their productions filling dancefloors around the world. 

“It’s about writing and producing music that flows when we’re working together, that we both get excited about and hopefully other people will too and have a good time while doing so.”

After their long term residency for DEPT. a party series based in Mannheim, Sorin and Luis came together with fellow German Dj and Producer Martin Occo to create their own party series and label, Noisy Neighbours, which is fast becoming a highly renowned brand across Germany and the label worldwide.
