After such a long break from the dancefloor, Toolroom Live returns with sold out shows at Ministry Of Sound, London and Motion in Bristol. Celebrating the return to clubland, Toolroom presents a brand-new album; ‘Club Rave Dance’, featuring nothing short of 50 club essentials, curated by Toolroom, aimed directly for the dancefloor. Including some of the hottest acts around together with Martin Ikin, Mark Knight, Volkoder & Meca, John Summit, Danny Howard, Maxinne, Nic Fanciulli, Flashmob, Latmun, Catz 'n Dogz, Ape Rebellion & Johan S and many more.

Carly Wilford & Danny Rhys - This Feeling (Extended Mix)

One of Desert Hearts Records’ most beloved formats is back! With Family & Friends, Vol. 6 we introduce and reintroduce some of our favourite artists and their newest music. Setting it all off are our good friends Mat.Joe and Otistic with the groove loaded “Concussion”. A dirty bassline and funky synths give us just the right vibe for the night. We are happy to see Ocean Roulette back in town with his brand new tune “Phyllis”. House inspired chords meet an incredibly catchy groove, creating a smooth and playful style.

David Paul joins the Desert Hearts family for the first time with “Pump the Funk”. The tune is a loaded ball of energy with chopped vocals, wild percussions and a funky bassline giving off some proper vibes. Taking control of the music-verse next is Revel Yelle. Also premiering on the label he serves us a juicy slice of pumping groove with a side of heavy bass and on point percussions.

Cutting through at half-time, Wet Velvet joins the fun with his more minimal “Break this Beat”. He introduces himself with a bouncy tune made up off detailed and crafty drum work. The track builds up some solid momentum in the break, introducing that heavy hitting bass when the drop kicks in. Up next is Color.Love with her track “Roller”. Crafty synths swoop the grounds and build some tension while quirky elements bounce off the catchy groove.

Nik Thrine’s “The One” is an ode to late nights and slow mornings with a shimmering synth soundscape and breaky beat. The beautiful vocal and supporting chorus build up the atmospheric journey, and we are here for it. Last but definitely not least, Sunday Noise and Ben Finx give us an energetic infusion with their track “Green Cows”. The deep groove drives forward with smooth percussive work and laid back vocals, excellently rounding up the release with a vibe.

The release gives us a phenomenal collection of tracks where all the artists showcase their characteristic style and energy. We can’t wait to get these gems out to the dance floors across the globe. Enjoy our new Family & Friends, Vol. 6.

It’s Wednesday and we’re inexplicably still busy recovering from what was another intense weekend for us at DT covering dancefloors across the UK and beyond.  So to help alleviate those midweek blues how about a world exclusive premiere of a fresh track to get you looking forward to next weekend early? 

Well, here we have revered Spanish producer Dosem  making an assertive debut on Toolroom which follows hot on the heels of the release of  his award winning album 'City Cuts.' Titled the ‘Presence’ EP we're pleased to see the Spaniard add another stellar chapter to what is fast becoming one of the most discerning of catalogues; so pleased in fact, that we just had to secure his new EP in its entirety an exclusive premiere ahead of its April 27th release.

Scheduled to  where he makes his 2nd Toolroom appearance at this years We Are FSTVL we expect to see and hear a lot more from Dosem throughout 2015 and beyond.

This Deep House record was created within just 2 hours on a flight from Malta to Vienna. Going with what feels natural and embracing the melancholic mood that can be found throughout the track. "Got So Far" dives deeper, layering a warm bass line with a vocal sample for an introspective mood.

Carl Cox hits Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels imprint on Friday 13th October with his remix of Yousef’s ‘Vanity’.

Kittball welcome Raumakustik who join forces with Andrew Meller for a tasteful two tracker that hits hard.

Raumakustik are based in Dresden, much like Kittball, and is a duo with an incredible decade in the game behind them having delivered searing tech house on labels such as Hot Creations, Safe Music and Sola. Now for the next release, they get collaborative with Andrew Meller, a new school talent making waves with his own signature bustling house production, which have been picked up by the likes of Saved and Glasgow Underground. Between them they really cook up some serious house heat on ‘The Funk EP'.

'The Funk' kicks off with rib-rattling kick drums that reverberate the earth, a trippy synth sequence then grows in the mix and becomes the main focus during an atmospheric break down. 'Melodica' offers a different mood with its loose beats and glitchy hands claps all finished off with a freaky lead line.
