Ant TC1 'Continuum' sets: 

Upon completion of Ant's heavily played and favourited Metalheadz podcast at the start of 2016 (where a range of styles and tempos were covered briefly across it's 60 minute mix duration), some of the initial feedback received from the mix led to thoughts on expanding the whole idea of eras, tempos and styles with ideas on ways to go into it with even more depth across a longer set duration overall.  The idea for 'Continuum' showcases was then cemented firmly into place.  Ant's love for this music started in the early 1990's in his early teenage years so it felt natural to him (with a solid understanding of this genre's over 25 years+) to want to showcase music both new and from times of old, be it fast tempo or back at it's original speed across a 2 hour+ set.  The trick at the start was finding ways to make it all work together, something that is showcased in this mix that Ant's put together.

Gerra & Stone - Dispatch Recordings London Promo Mix

Calyx & TeeBee’s first collaborated together in 2004, their history started in 1998 when they were introduced as label-mates on the Moving Shadow imprint.  In the following years the two artists would forge a reputation of high-quality releases on some of D&B’s most respected labels.

The first two tracks they produced together were ‘Follow The Leader’ and ‘Cyclone’, both appeared on Calyx’s debut album ‘No Turning Back’ and were used by Rockstar North as part of advert campaign for their videogame, 'Midnight Club'.

Their first album together as an 'official' duo was 2007's 'Anatomy LP', which proved to be even more successful. It ended up topping sales charts for months and it took the guys all around the world to play some of the biggest
parties going with their unique six-decks DJ show.

5 Years in the works, Calyx & TeeBee are about the drop their highly anticipated 2nd LP, 'All Or Nothing' which has been tipped by many to be one 2012's dance albums of the year. Expect to hear a little something from that in
today's Data Transmission podcast.

Here's a mix someone managed to dig out for me which I'd completely lost from the archives.  This was the first time I'd played for the Bladerunnaz guys in Budapest (one of many so thanks to Gabor and Gabor!).  

I've given the mix an overall re-master just so it's more balanced overall as the original recording wasn't sounding as good as it should (levels too low / a few up and down dips from the sound engineer etc).  

Hope you like the mix.  The image used was actually taken on the night itself (still had some hair left in 2005!).
