Well what a week that was. With Max Graham kicking off a bumper week of content that also saw mixes from the likes of Doorly and Kevin Knapp we certainly started as we meant to go on. Now with sore heads and a slightly sad look on our faces interrupted by the occasional smile as we reminisce about the weekend we’re back at our London HQ. PSY- BREAKS & TECH FUNK Mix!

Kimyan Law's fascinating new album 'Zawadi' is an exploration of rhythm. A trained drummer, the producer incorporates elements of pan-African culture (the title itself is Swahili) while surging ahead with a intensely single-minded passion.

This mix fuses a few of his key influences, while also utilising Kimyan Law's own production. Deep, heady electronic music, this comes highly recommended.

Lloyd Seymour aka Skool Of Thought was a British Breakbeat Producer/DJ based originally in Brighton UK. Staring off his career at a night called Supercharged in Brighton along with the likes of Ed Solo and Krafty Kuts. Currently based in Australia, Skool of Thought has been a key contributor to 'nu skool' breaks scene since it was born into the late nineties. He was driving force of 'Against the Grain' and 'SuperCharged' record labels, SOT is widely considered to be an ambassador of all things Breaks and Bass.

This mix from Australia's Triple J Radio from 2009 and is a good indicator of his talent and passion as a DJ and Producer.

Uptown funking fatness on a donut dunking scale, ever-sharp Jimi lays down another sweet session for Jungle Strikes. "No Roller" flexes a big string sample that's reminiscent of High Society era High Contrast and really opens out to its soul source on the breakdown. Total feel good vibes. "How We Chill" has a more mischievous take on soul as it works a chill bar from 93 over a sprightly neon synth funk groove and occasional amen splashes. To infinity and beyond.
