Passion Beat are joining forces with fellow Berlin promoters Geradehaus and Pueblo for a mighty all day open air in Griessemuehle on Sunday 1st September.
The venue has a great layout for an outdoor party. Plenty of places to hang out and explore, it's right by the canal, and has a nice big dancefloor that's covered, so even rain wont stop us!

This week's mixtape honours are for Tigerskin, the alter ego of German DJ/producer Alex Krüger aka Dub Taylor. Known as the producer of Phonique and a lot of other well-known artists around, this heavyweight also took some time to do dozens and dozens of own releases and remixes over the last twenty years. His Berlinesque versatility is perfectly portrayed in this mix he just dropped off at our office. PLAY!

Innervisions #50 LIVE Podcast - David August

"The Drifter" is Mark Flynn, an Irish producer, dj and singer. He released his first solo work, the 'Lovers' EP, on Permanent Vacation in late 2012.
His own vocals on the EP caught the attention of some of his peers, resulting in him recording vocals for Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt, Jacob Korn, Slow Hands, Erdbeerschnitzel and Baikal. He runs the record label Maeve together with two of his close friends, Mano Le Tough and Baikal. All three share a similar passion for deep emotive music. The label has quickly become one to watch, releasing music from Baikal, and remixes from Ripperton and Dixon. 

It seems like 2014 is shaping up to be a big year for The Drifter, so we have pleasure in submitting the following podcast of the The Drifter. Cheers!

The Drifter, otherwise known as Mark Flynn, is an Irish DJ, producer, and singer raised in a countryside town near Dublin. Growing up, Flynn would dabble in choirs and rock bands alongside close friend Mano Le Tough, before going to university and being exposed to dance music. Today The Drifter is a fond purveyor of the melodic and mesmerising breed of electronic music, and is now based in the thriving city of Berlin where he runs the Maeve label alongside co-founders Mano Le Tough and Baikal – a label which despite being in its infancy has already hosted names such as Matthew Dekay, Dixon and Ripperton.

As well as Maeve, his own productions have appeared on imprints such as Tigers On A Leash, Lossless, and Permanent Vacation, and his voice has even been lent to the likes of Jacob Korn, Slow Hands, Erdbeerschnitzel, Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt, and Baikal. Now, as the summer gets into full swing The Drifter’s momentum shows no symptoms of faltering, with a string of remixes set to arrive over the next few months whilst his touring schedule sees him live up to him musical moniker, touching down in America, Germany and Brazil in the near future.

Regardless of what people tell you everybody needs a little groove in their life from time to time so for this weeks podcast we secured the services of our go to guy when we’re looking for our house equivalent of our five a day: Martin Landsky. Needing little introduction we’ve long been fans of Martin both as a producer and a DJ. 

Hailing from Hamburg, Martin has been moving crowds for almost three decades, touring the globe and rocking some of the world’s best parties – with everywhere from Berlin to Brooklyn housing his irrepressible talents. Not content with smashing it as both in the DJ booth and the studio he’s also turned his hand distribution and running a label, working for Container Distribution and later for Word And Sound – one of the world’s largest distributers – whilst helming his own label, Effortil Records. Having just reprised his with association with Poker Flat for the release of his new EP 'Da Geh Bo’ (we’ve got the three track effort both in our heads and on our playlists) we thought the time was right for him take the reins on our podcast series. Turn it up!
