In its demo format the first version of Jupiter Rising by Kydus blew up, Essential New Tune, endless plays on Radio One by all the dance djs, and global radio stations alike, huge for djs like Carl Cox, Joris Voorn, Uner to Nic Fanciulli, et al and typically massive in Ibiza at all the openings…

The use of a small sample on the demo proved to be a difficult obstacle and a deal to clear it could sadly not be reached. Undeterred label owner, fellow Circus Recordings artist and mentor to Kydus, Yousef set about entirely re developing the prospective sample free summer anthem with his trusted songstress “The Angel”.

The results are almost astounding, a new mix down and melody, a tastefully crafted vocal hook ride effortlessly along the Kydus backdrop of his trademark bass line and drums. Already tested in Ibiza and with a new seal of approval from Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli and radio one. This remake is like finding the love of your life after a difficult break up, life never felt better…

After several acclaimed releases on Black Butter Kidnap Kid debuted with his ‚Fall / Freedom‘ EP on FFRR beginning of June. On the release the 24-year old producer and DJ explored a deeper, more progressive style of Techno infused House, inspired by his extensive world touring. Now it is time for some proper remixes, and with OXIA and Tim Green on board the result is a disperse two-track gem.

Full Premiere: Kidnap Kid - Fall (OXIA Remix)

Italian-born Pirupa makes his debut on the Crosstown Rebels sub-label Rebellion with ‘Cristallo’, while Maher Daniel supplies the remix.

“This is a special EP for me. ‘Cristallo’ is very significant to me, I made it in 2014 while inspired by my stay in Ibiza last August and the magic of the island, with its hot and sexy sounds; while ‘Save a Prayer’ was created more recently in April, inspired by my last tour in the US where lots of particular things have happened. I am very happy with the work done and especially to debut on a label very important to me from an artist like Damian Lazarus, who I respect and have respected for over 10 years, since I started as a DJ and producer”. The opening track ‘Cristallo’ immediately transports you to the White Isle, with its steel drums bringing the rhythm, an infectious beat, and a breakdown to cause chaos. Next up is the Maher Daniel remix of ‘Cristallo’, and a heavier bassline and trippy effects. The final track 'Save A Prayer’ is a siren to the dancefloor, with a gnawing beat and a drop that proves why Pirupa is supported by so many.
