Long time friend and supporter of Nirvana, Jean Pierre is one of New Yorks rising stars and is working his way up the ladder very fast. Honoring him with a residency at the newly opened Sankeys NYC is proof enough of the respect level the industry has for him and gives light to the road that lies ahead for this young talent. We at Nirvana are delighted to welcome Jean Pierre to the release schedule and know that he will be a regular here with us. 
The In The Woods EP is by far some of Jeans best work. On this EP he delivers us three tracks, each with its own time and place on the dance floor. From the housey vibe of Santelo, to the pumping tech house number La Huasca and finally the late night tech monster In The Woods, he is leaving no ground uncovered.

The weather is picking up and we need more synth and 80s vibes  in our lives to soundtrack our Spring. Step forward Jordy Leenaerts aka Timecop1983 with a fresh free download for your listening pleasures.

Having a keen focus on nostalgic, romantically infused dreamwave, Timecop1983 is a practised master of the retro-synth sound. Hailing from Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Leenaerts has been in awe of music from the 80's, the decade that bore the electronic music dawn. Cutting his teeth on niche software, Scream Tracker, on which he experimented in everything from hip hop to minimal techno, before settling on synth based dreamwave.

Taking his inspiration from artists like Miami Nights 1984, Sellorekt, Multipac and Sunglasses Kid, Leenaerts honed his instrumental style before reaching out to Hannah Edwards to add her epic tones to the track 'Hold Me' to complete on his latest EP.

His 'Daydreaming' EP is full of rich, pulsating synths and superbly sidechained, basslines. With the EP out on the 28th of March we thought we’d secure the talents of the young Dutchman now and kickstart your week with a free download of ‘Past Years’. We’ve been watching Valdovinos since he dropped the epic “November” on All Day I Dream back in 2018. Since then, he’s consistently delivered the kind of slow-burning gems that we are looking for when building a beautiful mood in the club. His recent organic heater, “Bacab” on Sounds Of Khemit got us excited to see if he would deliver some delicious deepness for us. And, listening to his debut single, “Hang Out”, he totally has. Featuring the wonderfully left-field vocal tones of Amparo Blanco, this one is a quirky, feel-good flumper wrapped up in a simple but effective beat. It’s surprisingly addictive!
