With a residency at Space, appearances at Ultra festivals across the globe and an impressive discography under his belt, Elio Riso is a man with a serious CV; thus, we were more than happy when he offered to join our Mix of the Day series.

Working closely alongside the legend that is Carl Cox, Riso has wowing the Ibiza masses for over a decade. During that time the Italian-Argentine has never been one to conform to genre expectations, easily flitting between house, tech house and techno, he weaves together ever more impressive sets. Now running Push Push Music, through which he had a string of releases last year, it looks like the only way is up for Riso.

Since her appropriately named debut EP 'The Arrival' back in 2011, singer and fashionista Queen of Hearts has collected a loyal following through her forward-thinking DIY approach.The 25-year-old saw huge success with recent single 'Neon', taken from debut album 'Cocoon', which headed up multiple fashion campaigns and secured plays on a host of popular television series.

Now the Queen is back, handing over lead single 'Like A Drug' to Satin Jackets for a summertime rework. The German duo strip back the audacious EDM of Fabien Waltmann's production, bringing both the beat and vocals down for an easy-going disco groove.

Following up the successful release of head honcho Worthy's new album 'Disbehave', Anabatic Records have signed up a delectable selection of tracks from rising stars Eyes Everywhere.

Based in Buffalo, NY, the duo have been prepping for world domination. Along with previous releases on Fool's Gold and Perfect Driver Music, Eyes Everywhere have collectively (according to their list of accomplishments) drunk over 7500 Canadian Import Beers, watched the majority of Ancient Aliens and owned four cats - which apparently results in some of the freshest sounds to come out of the States in recent years.

Their latest work, the 'Privilege Thing' EP, showcases the duo's refusal to be confined by genre standards. Featuring the bouncy stabs of 'Ruff Ride', West Coast vibes from the title track and the lighter house grooves of today's exclusive premiere 'Origami', the EP has a something for every dance floor.

Laszlo Barany aka. Leap Seconds was born in North East Hungary. After living for almost a decade in the United Kingdom, he has now returned to his roots and moved back to Budapest, to find further inspiration in his home country.

" I prefer not to define my taste of music. I love to play a variety of styles from Ambient, Chill Out ,Electronica,Deep House to Organic House through Progressive House. When assorting music for a mix, the key points I look for are emotions and meaningful melodies. These are important aspects that I also apply in my productions. I love to express my emotions through music and sounds, as these are much better story-tellers than words."

Jone Larrañaga, aka Jara, nació en Elgoibar en 1993 y actualmente reside en Madrid. Desde pequeña ha estado muy vinculada a la música: tocaba el piano y gracias a sus aitas empezó a descubrir bandas y grupos de música disco, rock y pop con influencia electrónica.

Su paso por las cabinas ha sido especialmente intenso desde 2022, gracias a un sonido fino, contundente y lleno de vocales y melodías. Además, su trabajo como selectora musical le ha llevado a compartir cartel con artistas de la talla de D-Formation o Kamilo Sanclemente.

Su sonido está enfocado en el progressive house aunque le encanta descubrir productores de otros géneros como el deep house, organic house, melodic techno, indie dance. La música es su pasión y en cada set se encarga de transmitirla a toda la pista.

Participating in the SPACE IBIZA WORLD TOUR in 2007 as well at a party organized by Monza at PENELOPE IBIZA and on tour with the legendary INTERFRONT in 2013 who landed in Pamplona.
Not only is it very usual to see him at different northern venues, but in venues in Madrid, Murcia, Alicante, Tarragona, Zaragoza, Valencia, Marbella etc…. As well.
In the summer of 99 he was the resident DJ at DC10 and JOCKEY CLUB in Ibiza.
You could have also seen him perform at legendary venues in Ibiza like SPACE, PRIVILEGE or in Mallorca at BCM or ZORBAS.
Under the name WARE ELECTRONIC EVENTS , he organizes events at venues in northern Spain.
Nowadays he is immersed in progressive house and organic house sounds.
He is the resident DJ at REVOLUXION, the electronic dance floor at the legendary venue MITIKA in VItoria-Gasteiz.
Moreover he is the co-founder of Retrospective parties, which have been being organized since 2015 at the same venue.

Abstract Distortion Series 007 - February 2024

For the past decade, the Amsterdam based Miss Melera has been perfecting her art and developing mixing skills. She’s done her homework, absorbing the essence behind traditional genres such as deep, tech house and techno and then twisting them into a melodic confection that is both fresh timeless and completely her own.
A triple threat, Miss Melera is as at home in the studio as she is on the airwaves, in the DJ booth at an underground club or on stage of an outdoor massive. In the past year she has played increasingly high profile dates in India, the Americas, including Canada, the US, Columbia and of course, Berlin. Her monthly radio show on Soundcloud, Colourizon, is increasingly popular and her fast growing fan base is embrasing her second release, Faith.
Faith, which follows 2013’s Stare / Stunning, is a three-song EP including the title track “Fearless,” and an Einmusik remix of “Faith.” As Miss Melera has always regarded Einmusik as a great inspiration, she is particularly honored to be able to include it on the release and do so on Einmusika Recordings.
This record, which Thump calls “dark tech house at its finest,” and her upcoming tour will give global audience a chance to experience what savvy music lovers in Miami, Berlin, Brasil and Amsterdam already have. As they will tell you, when you’re under Miss Melera’s spell, you won’t stop moving.
