German-born but Ibiza-based Defex steps up to Moon Harbour to remix label head Matthias Tanzmann's classic 2016 cut 'Chano.' His fantastic take on 'Chano' maintains some of the original carnival charm and percussive patter of the original but turns up the groove. The drums here are warm, bold and dubby as they drive on with luminous synth stabs, raw hits, and the curious vocal bringing off-beat charm. It's a steamy sound for unifying dance floors of all sizes.

Hold onto your hats, folks! New Jersey's very own Danner (US) is back with a tech house beast that'll have speakers quaking and dancefloors shaking—hello, 'Babalica'! The man is on a roll, and his latest offering lands on none other than Sacha Robotti's Sloth Acid, an LA label that's as much about the groove as it is about the threads.

Danner (US) has been flipping the script in the scene, leaving a trail of deep grooves and melodic mayhem on labels like Desert Hearts and Rawthentic. The guy's got a knack for drilling down into the soul of tech house, and 'Babalica' puts that talent front and center. 

This track is pure dancefloor artillery. Imagine a bassline so chunky it feels like it's got its own zip code. The drums have a tribal flair that's all about those warehouse vibes. Warped synths bounce around like they're in a pinball machine, and that fragmented vocal loop? Primeval energy that’ll make you feel like you’re in a Brooklyn basement.

'Babalica' hits the scene on October 10, 2025. If you're not pre-ordering it by the time you finish reading this, what are you even doing? Following notable solo output across labels including Get Physical, All Day I Dream, and his own Super Sapiens imprint, Luca Saporito makes his Hot Creations debut with ‘Talkin’ Like Dat’. Balancing dusty, vocal-led grooves with deep, rolling basslines and crisp percussion, the track marries hip-hop nuances with dancefloor sensibilities, marking a long-awaited first appearance on Jamie Jones’ iconic imprint.

“I made this track within the arc of two days in my studio in Ibiza. Came together like dat! It draws inspiration from that golden-era hip-hop energy (think A Tribe Called Quest) but with a fresh, modern edge. I never sent any music to Jamie before until he started playing ‘U Don’t Want This’, which helped define my musical style a bit more. Coming out on Hot Creations after many years in the scene is truly a dream come true.” - Luca Saporito.
Adding to the package, Rome’s Whitesquare has been proving himself as a DJ and producer of note since 2012, blending deep house and techno to deliver fresh, eclectic vibes. His remix of ‘Talkin’ Like Dat’ adds trippy and hypnotic melodic layers, delivering heightened rhythmic drive and providing an interpretation for all hours of the night.

Hands up, who knows what 'Ubuntu' means? Oh and quieten down you computer nerds, we're not talking about the Linux based operating system as that'd be, well, beyond boring. Anyone? No? We'll tell you then. It means "I am because we are" and serves as the inspiration behind Italian DJ and producer Federico Grazzini's new record label of the same name. 

Starting life with a four track various artist EP, the outlet aims to serve as an "interactive open space" where music and other art forms can be shared by like-minded individuals.

 Featuring cuts from from E-Dward!, Double Dash and Grazzini himself, Ubuntu 001 has a Futurama theme running through the record, with several of the track titles paying homage to Matt Groening's popular animated science fiction series.

Out now on wax, it's the label founder's effort, 'Bender' that most impressed us here at Data Transmission HQ and thus is the number we knew we just had to nab for premiere. A retrofitted glimpse of the future, you can check out 'Bender' in all all its techno fuelled glory now.  Go on, you won't regret it.

The glitzy synths and lavish drops of the original have been swapped out in favour of something decidedly darker. Rumbling basslines and meandering riffs are layered on top of rumbling low-ends and minimal yet focused percussion. 

It's aimed at the warehouses rather than the main stages but we have no doubt that you'll be hearing this one crashing through a sound-system very soon.

The return of Michael Klein was imminent. Considering the magnitude of his last offering, the „Drawing EP“, it was only a matter of time before he returned with another stellar parcel of forward thinking dance floor bombshells. With his latest contribution ‚Metals EP’, Michael presents four stunning numbers displaying not only his trademark sound, but his evolution and range as a highly promising new artist.
The expedition kicks off with „Silver“ and with it a lush presentation of the perfect balance between thrust and elation. While a persistent rush of momentum keeps the pace, slow yet infectious rises and vast ethereal cries of spacious flickers set the stage for a cosmic ride reminiscent of indigenous settings with boundless, star lit skies.
Following suit on the A side sees Michael return to his approach heard on his last EP. Somewhere between the traditional fundamentals and the future stylings of the most distinguished techno lies „Opaque“. With incredible force and exuberance, Klein delivers off kilter grooves that create a contagious, sweat laden exhilaration, nothing short of pure warehouse bliss.
Kicking off the B side is „Outer Shell“ and it is by far the most emotional and cosmic of all the tunes. Opulent melodics construct beams of radiant light found only in the outer reaches of deep space as flashes of meteoric rises and low bursts of impetus propel the auditor into a never-ending journey into a place where time and space cease to exist.
Wrapping things up is a slow burner entitled „Dura 2 feat. aGhost“. A tune that can be played fast or at the slower original speed, it's a beautiful demonstration of resistance and inflection. As chants of a mysterious female fill the room, shimmers of lavish chimes circle slowly to secure an impassioned sentiment of sorrow, excitement and desire.
To compliment the beauty of 'Dura 2' we've enrolled the services of Roman Lindau to put his spin on the original. With just a few elements Lindau expertly creates a monster of a dance floor stormer. As the bassline continually grows and shrinks with a simple but highly effective four to the floor groove, the excitement swells as short stabs of vocals entice the crowd to peaking trepidation.

Jamie Jones has always had the golden touch when it comes to remixes and his sumptuous edit takes no prisoners. 

There's a seriously heavy bassline running throughout and the serene vocals of Eglė Sirvydytė​ are kept intact. It's a bit of a monster and some warped gurgles and rumbles give it a darkened edge. Check it.
