A childhood of spending your lunch money on jungle records, reading your older brothers Eternity magazine and amassing rave-tapes does a lot to a person. Underground music culture becomes a part of their DNA and no matter how hard the 'real world' tells you to do something sensible, it just doesn't resonate.

This is the story of Hauswerks. Whilst his preferred tempos may have slowed down over the years, his obsession with grooves is more prominent than ever. This is none more prominent than on three new rhythmic house tracks in his ‘Only You EP’ set to drop on Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records this January.  Our Debut Transmission today we serve up the title track ‘Only You’ which kicks off the release with a steady rhythm whilst introducing numerous stabs, eerie whirrs and an infectious vocal sample before erupting into all out bedlam.

Following on from Hector Couto’s ‘Parental Advisory’ EP, which touched down on Roush in March, DJ.T, Ralph Lawson and Rui-Z make their way to the label this October to deliver two fresh, impressive remixes.

Known as one of the most respected artists within house, Hector Couto has gone on to set a remarkable standard since his production debut in 2008, with notable releases on the likes of Hot Creations, Get Physical, Moon Harbour to name just a few. Here we see formidable Berlin based DJ / producer DJ.T, 20/20 boss Ralph Lawson and emerging talent Rui-Z welcomed to the imprint to put their own stamps on two of Couto’s original cuts.

Our Debut Transmission today is the interpretation from Ralph Lawson & Rui-Z  which retains the bubbling make up of Couto’s ‘Like This’, whilst introducing a bumping low-end, shuffling hats and rugged kicks to reveal a track aimed firmly at the dancefloor. Hector Couto ‘Parental Advisory (The Remixes)’ drops on Roush on 31st October 2016.

Hector Couto - Like This (Ralph Lawson & Rui-Z Remix)

Biscute is nothing short of a bone shaking groove.  Immediately bursting open with a huge swagger, Mike sets out the tone for the rest of the track with a massive kick and constantly shuffling percussion.  Echoing cut up vocal samples lead you to the grooving bassline and on to the fizzing breakdown.  Mike brings in the full vocal sample alongside moody synths to give the track a natural sense of depth, resulting in a layered and addictive groove.

Set for release on Carpe Diem Musica on the 21st of November, Mike Denitz' 'Biscute' EP is a serious club weapon.
