The EP finds Hackman going full-circle of sorts. The tunes from this release were written almost five years ago, when the producer was on a totally different aesthetic tip, favoring UK funky styles over the deeper house tones that popped up on THUMP recently. "I would say this EP would have fit better within my catalogue back around 2011," Hackman tells THUMP. "That's when the tracks were originally written and signed to Halocyan, but I'm at the point now where I'm starting to write a bit harder, more dance floor driven music, so this EP is a good base to build from for this."

"Here you go, the first VA release on my label Propaganda Records called ‘Zbirka’, made, in the best traditions of wax, on 180 gram inside-out black vinyl in a gold sleeve. 
On it are five different but equally solid tracks worthy of your attention. ‘Tooman’ is typical of Ukrainian Yate’s minimal and groovy style. ‘The Story Behind Everything’ is a quality minimal track produced by a very talented Romanian producer who decided to take the alias nSd. In the end it's not that important to know WHO it is because his music speaks for itself. ‘Machinebag’ is made by Dani Casarano and Felipe Valenzuela; this one is techno for the dance floor. ‘Safari’ by me is that rare moment when I am interested to make something in the studio. I was very much supported to bring this track out by Nikolay Bogomolov, actually a young drum and bass producer from the Ukrainian city Dniepropetrovsk. A special thing about the track is its mix of techno and bass sounds. And finally, a key track of this release, the one so many of you were waiting for, ‘Journeyman’ produced by the previously unknown and youngest music maker on my label, Matteo Papachiolli, featuring the deep, sexy voice of Rich Medina. Cassy's next appearance is on fledgling label Echoe and she joins an all-star cast of ladies to provide a remix of Francesca Lombardo's 'Remembrance'.

She joins the likes of La Fleur, Jade and Laura Jones who have all turned in amazing re-imaginings of the original, but here we concentrate on Cassy's remix and we have the exclusive premiere.

Cassy's remix is a deep, brooding and completely compelling techno roller, one that twinkles with a transcendental glow. This one's geared to give you goosebumps from head-to-toe and it sums up exactly why we love her so much. Check it.

Premiere: Francesca Lombardo 'Remembrance' (Cassy Remix)

Based on the stylistic content of the compilation, the boundaries of it can be outlined by tracks from BT Gate X-138, which turned out to be the most noisy and ambient, and Spacedrome, which turned out to be tech with shades of minimal. Also on the collection there are references to reggae music in the track from Khlev with melodic vocal inserts. In the rest of the compositions can clearly be seen the love of the authors to dub techno music, their identity and approach to producing, their depth and perspectives on contemporary sound.
