Italian DJ and producer, Simone Liberali, is welcomed back to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint with his long overdue follow up to 2019's Ibiza anthem, 'Landslide' with the brand-new 'Inside You' EP. His music is renowned for its powerful, percussive and playful sound and his records have found homes on an impressive list of labels including Toolroom, Stereo, NONSTOP, elrow, Kaluki and AVOTRE as well as seeing him tour the world and play at infamous clubs across the globe including Egg London, elrow Barcelona and Pacha & Sankeys in Ibiza. Steve Lawler makes his debut on Hector Couto’s thriving Roush imprint to kick off 2017, with both Couto and Spanish talent Cuartero providing two stellar remixes.
2016 has seen Hector Couto’s Roush take a firm hold within the world of house, with releases from industry heavyweights including the likes of DJ W!ld, Steve Rachmad, Santé, Neverdogs, DJ T. and more this year alone. Next up is VIVa boss Steve Lawler, who finally releases ‘People Having Sex’ as his first offering on the label.
“I’m very happy to now release this track. I made it a couple of years ago around the time I made ‘House Record’ that was eventually released on Hot Creations. I was experimenting with my old Roland machines, trying to re-create a sound that I was aware of in the late 80’s. This track ‘People Having Sex’ was never sent out to anyone at the time and just kept it for my DJ sets. Now 2 years on, and under the desire of many people asking what this track is throughout all of this summer, I have decided to release it and where better than Hector Couto’s House label Roush” - Steve Lawler
Lawler’s original opens up the EP in fine style, revealing ever-evolving 303 lines, mischievous vocals, 808 claps and precise percussion patterns that combine to combine unearth a record unquestionably intended for the dancefloor. Next up, Roush boss Hector Couto’s interpretation firmly places its emphasis on percussion, with a driving low-slung groove and rugged drum licks guiding the production into an energy-fuelled workout across five and a half minutes.
Lastly, Cuartero’s remix shapes up the package by utilising the original’s playful vocal over a bubbling lead line whilst a series of glitches and pops ebb and flow amongst shuffling hats in the background, rounding out yet another impressive package from the team at Roush. Steve Lawler ‘People Having Sex’ is out on Roush on January 30th 2017.

Canadian Paolo Rocco kickstarts the New Year with his ​Judgement EP on Hot Creations. The first release of 2017 is an international affair, with Manchester born Trevino and one of the most spoken
names of last year, Greece native Detlef on remix duties.

Initially making a name for himself through his DJing skills back home in Montreal, Paolo's productions entered the market in 2012 with instant international support. His releases on Real Tone, One Records, Saved and others were all met with high acclaims as were the compilations he mixed for Defected and Get Physical. The creation of, ‘Judgement’ and ‘That’s It’ prove Paolo truly understands what works on the dance floor.

2016 saw Detlef reach new heights whilst also debuting on Hot Creations with his ‘Kinky Tail’ EP. He returns to
the label with a devastating edit of ‘Judgement’ and his rolling signature sound.

Trevino aka Marcus Intalex ramps up the EP with his remix, centred around shimmering high hats and a freaky groove. A champion of how a DJ can achieve success in two different genres, Trevino has released on several of the most praised drum & bass and techno labels for a number of years.

Making his welcome return to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records this winter is Lemon-Aid label boss and MÜSE co-founder, Dennis Cruz, who brings with him fellow Spaniard, Iuliano Mambo, for their brand new single; 'Dogs In Da House'. Two artists at the centre of Madrid's Tech House scene, both artists having enjoyed success across labels including Crosstown Rebels, Moon Harbour, Solid Grooves, Moan and Stereo, with their productions being picked up and supported by the likes of Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriatti and Roger Sanchez.
