The concept of "The Road Back" is rooted in ‘The Hero's Journey’, the larger narrative woven throughout the release. The original is an ambient/electronica track using various layers and soundscapes.

My intention with the remix EP was to source three extremely talented artists I admire—three people with truly distinct identities. I wanted each to interpret the track however they wanted, with no guidelines or rules. The result is three extraordinary pieces that capture their individual aesthetics while impressively channeling the original's qualities.

This further motivates my label's objective: to be a platform for experimentation and expression, all while being a bit leftfield.

Next up on Pirate Copy's Kaluki Musik, we welcome one of FUSE's original residents and a core FUSE artist, Rich NxT who teams up with German DJ and producer, Christian Burkhardt, for their debut release on the label; the 'Hands Up' EP. With releases between them on some of the industry's most respected labels including Snatch!, Infuse, Moan, AVOTRE, Hottrax, Circus and of course Fuse London, where Rich NxT has just recently released his debut album; a culmination of 20 years production work, taking influence from his varied involvement in music as a DJ, raver, drummer and pirate radio devotee. The 'Hands Up' EP combines both artists unique sounds taking influence from Techno and Minimal House, infusing acid inspired rise and fall basslines, punchy drums, crisply mixed percussion, pulsating low-end, hypnotic synth hooks and electrifying vocal stabs, taking you straight to the dancefloor.
