AJ Christou is back on his home label Boogeyman with more of his expertly designed and utterly compelling house grooves. This one follows many standout tunes on the likes of Cuttin' Headz and Robsoul Recordings, and an artist who is a regular at the world's finest clubs.

'Gory Love' kicks off with warm, vamping chords that bring the heat to a slick tech beat. The rolling bassline is utterly infectious and deft vocals finish it in style with hints of soul. 'Turtle Dove' has a heavier beat and is sprinkled with loose toms and percussion. The hi hats through are razor airy and the balmy synths that circle the groove bring that heady and jazzy feel. 'Noachis' is the closer and this one brings more brilliant punchy drum work and lush guitar riffs that speak of Ibiza sunsets and good time dances.

This is another standout EP from contemporary tastemaker AJ Christou.

Este proyecto reúne 10 pistas inéditas, creadas en diferentes etapas y nunca publicadas oficialmente. Una colección que recorre sonidos entre el tech house, el deep tech y el latin tech, mostrando distintas facetas de mi proceso creativo durante los últimos años.

Estas piezas quedaron fuera de mis lanzamientos oficiales, pero forman parte de la historia que me llevó hasta donde estoy ahora. Con este compilado cierro un ciclo y dejo atrás esta etapa sonora para centrarme en un nuevo camino, con un enfoque más definido y una visión renovada sobre mi música.

Demuir marks an inaugural release on Hot Creations with High. Alive. And Dirty., a
diverse four track EP made up of all original records.

The EP opens with Santa and The Elf. A penetrating bassline ratchets up and down, as horn
like synths whir occasionally in the background, alongside tassel-like hi-hats. Up next, the title
track High. Alive. And Dirty. provides stunning contrast. A happy, funk-fuelled number, the
track incorporates disco elements with “positive and soulful vibes”, before Rawness - Beat 3
features a “raw native structure”, bongo sounding drums and tropical vocals to from a well-
rounded, feel-good record. Eerbawdy Wants to Deeezsko rounds off the EP in fine form, with
more disco elements and chiming, emotional keys.

Canadian-based Demuir is a distinctive talent in the electronic music sphere. A prolific
producer, Demuir has already made a home on labels including I’m A House Gangster as well
as Cassy’s Kwench Records, whilst he is soon set to release on Loco Dice’s iconic Desolat
imprint.
