Bio:
Despite the many weird and wonderful submissions they get from Joe Public at Data Transmission – think everything from bottles of homemade hooch to used underwear – Data Transmission freely admit that we were most surprised to receive a cassette accompanied by a polaroid photo of alphabetti spaghetti spelling out ‘I AM RON MEXICO’ in the post at the tail end of last year. Intrigued, DT dusted off their Walkman and gave the tape a listen to find that what was on offer, was, well…surprisingly good!!! They then set about finding him online, only to find that there was not a single mention of him on the internet.

Several weeks passed and having written Ron Mexico off as an elaborate prank concocted by the over active imagination of one of their many friends with far too much time on their hands, Data Transmission didn’t expect to hear from him again. Then the postman delivered a bottle of tequila every day for twelve days. A postcard then followed, with the following message inscribed in Spanish “Now you’re suitably inebriated, perhaps we can talk on Facebook”. One brief chat later, Data Transmission had arranged for Ron to come with us to burgeoning snow festival, Rise, wherein we’d meet the mysterious selector in the flesh for the first time. His rider, predictably contained a variety of mescal, alongside “1 semi-inflated inflatable shark, a frozen banana and a copy of the Karate Kid on VHS”. The time in the French Alps with a masked Ron was fleeting and having ingested what we’d consider a potentially lethal amount of Mexican spirits, Ron Mexico left as much of an enigma as he’d arrived.

6 years on and Ron Mexico became the selector of all music for Data Transmission

After some gentle coaxing and assurances by Hobbs (UK) that he wouldn’t bring any “cameras or cops” ‘Ron’ instructed him to meet him at London’s St. Katharine’s Dock at 10.47 AM precisely with the promise he’d see him. And see him he did. Arriving by jetski, the still masked Mr. Mexico disembarked on to a pontoon wherein they set about creating 'Scolarisé à Domicile'.

descubrí la música electrónica a los 5 años de edad viendo documentales de la vida rave en emisoras de mi país los cuales llamaron mi atención por los escenarios y por la música TECHNO así como por el género PROGRESSIVE y PSYCHO DELIC pero no es sino hasta la edad de 14 años que pude presenciar un evento de los géneros que pondrían a volar mis sentidos así mismo nació el deseo por cultivarme más sobre la música electrónica rodeado de amistades que con el pasar del tiempo fueron cómplices y mentores los cuales motivaron mi gusto por la música al poner frente a mi unos Pioneer cdj 200 siendo ese mi punto de inicio en 2012 teniendo errores y muy joven aún decidí practicar más antes de subir nuevamente a una cabina pero antes de eso pidiendo consejos de artistas de alta calidad como 
Vlada asanin , Gabriel Rocha , Forza 
los cuales motivaron aún más mi pasión por la música hoy en día me place compartir mis set's con las personas que quieran escucharme y compartir con migo esa emoción y alegría que produce la música
