You know you’re getting older when the artists you’re watching emerge start to be younger than you are. Some people might find that a bit startling but as long as the talent coming through the ranks is producing music at the quality that Heir is we couldn’t care less how old he is.

A prodigious talent hailing from Stockholm - [Ed. there must be something in the water there] - the 21 year old multi-instrumentalist, DJ, producer, singer and songwriter has had quite the 2015, serving up remixes for the likes of Prides, Montmartre, Goldbass, Tobtok and Vinjette whilst beginning to forge a fierce reputation for his own material. Also operating under the names Skogsrå and Charlie England - he's half English - his debut track 'Now You See Me' astonishly racked up over 710,000 plays on Soundcloud quickly garnering him an army of fans as his sound went viral.  For his latest trick he's hooked up with  fellow swede, Oliver Nelson for winter banger 'Found Your Love' which having landed on Perfect Havoc we've been unable to get out of heads or off of our playlist. Backed by remixes from Blonde, Kill Them With Colour and Plastic Plates, Celsius we thought that there was no better time than now to welcome the meteorically rising producer to the DT fold getting him to deliver a set of selections guaranteed to give you that Friday feeling. Satin Jackets’ gorgeous electronic pop song ‘Feel Good’ gets a single release, backed by remixes from the likes of Cavego, Keljet and In Limbo.

‘Feel Good’ is a reimagination of the duo’s hit track ‘You Make Me Feel Good’ and features LA four-piece Scavenger Hunt on vocals. It retains all of the gloriously bowled over sentiment of the original but with some of the extra polish Satin Jackets have picked up since that track was originally released. Jill Lamoureux (Scavenger Hunt) says of their new vocall contribution: “We instantly connected with ‘Feel Good’ and wanted to breathe new life into this brilliant track, by giving it a voice, a narrative. ‘Feel Good’ feels like jumping into a cool pool on a hot summer day - refreshing, exhilarating and sexy.” 

Delivering the first remix is Norwegian Cavego (aka Even Gillebo). Seen as a champion of the nu disco sound, he has conjured up a glossier, more funky version of an already smooth disco gem. At the forefront of Dutch indie dance is Keljet. Their remix adds an extra layer of sparkle for optimum dancefloor effectiveness. Finally, In Limbo slows things down by creating an appropriately mysterious and enchanting remix.

‘Feel Good’ is taken from the much-lauded Satin Jackets debut album ‘Panorama Pacifico’. In their 8/10 review, Mixmag perfectly described it as “a collection of love songs perfect for the dancefloor, lounging around the poolside, or both”.
