Pan-Pot are back, this time with the Cells EP on their newly formed label, Second State. The new label sees Pan-Pot taking full creative control as they move into the second phase of their career, and both Cells and Third Eye are keen indicators that the pair are starting a new chapter of their sonic journey.

The title track Cells was built around the synthline after it caught Pan-Pot right from the beginning. Similar to a cell starting in its simplest form and expanding, the track builds into a peak of full dynamic and volume and is packed with a variety of frequencies.

Having already established themselves as one of the most versatile and ambitious acts around, DC and Hooks break new sonic territory with eight tracks that that cover a wide spectrum of electronic music. Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Ferrell makes an appearance closing track “Blink.” Also on the EP are Colorado group Big Gigantic & fellow Canadian Omar LinX for the smooth hip-hop cut “Stoned Capone”,  producer and vocalist Bright Lights, New York rapper Sean Price and French DJ/Producer group Dirtyphonics.  Somewhere Else is their first proper release since last year’s Hot Sauce EP, out July 1st on Mad Decent and distributed in Canada by Ultra Canada.

We love exciting new talent here at DT which is why it is our pleasure to present to you an exclusive mix from one of the fastest rising names in electronic music in Stil Von Talent signing and Oliver Koletzki collaborator Niko Schwind. 
For his latest, he locks horns with his self-professed ‘tutor’, Oliver Koletzki, for an EP that further enhances the credentials of all involved parties. The cheekily named ‘She Wants Acid’ features three original cuts - with each one maintaining their own sense of wonderment and has been a release we've been unable to get off of our playlist or out of heads since it arrived last month. 

Taking us on a trip through the dark tunnels of the techno underground before building through peak time destroyers this is a mix sure to ignite any ailing dancefloor.
