Joshua Delaney - frontman of ambient outfit Rat & Co - is preparing to make waves under new solo alias Ocdantar (Rat and Co backwards... sort of).

Having already supported the likes of Shigeto, Bicep and DT favourite Nina Kraviz, Delaney's 7-track debut Time in Flux is set for release via Smooch Records in the first half of 2016. The record promises to continue his work within ambient electronica, experimenting further with texture and space.

As expected, second single '0102' is stripped-back beat-wise, yet the Melbourne producer has enriched it with an abyssal low-end that crunches softly under silken harmonies. "Go to sleep," we're told as the vocal floods in, and if it weren't for the promise of more to come from Ocdantar, we just might drift off into serenity.
