Put on your finest dancing shoes and brace yourselves, ravers! *Ky William* is back with a double whammy, ‘Funkay / The Gift,’ dropping October 17th via none other than TSHA’s bombshell label, Jackfruit. With two tracks designed to wreak havoc on dancefloors, these are the kind of tunes you'd find rattling the walls of any gritty warehouse or after-hours haven.

Brooklyn's own Ky William, the mastermind behind Andhera Records, is no stranger to the decks. Carving his niche with a sound rooted in the hip-hop vibes of his native scene, he's unleashed bangers on labels like Knee Deep In Sound and Solid Grooves. With over a million streams and Beatport Top 10 hits, Ky's tracks are certified floor-filler material. And now, he's locked arms with the rising US maverick Nate Katz for a collab that’s about to turn heads and move feet.

Let’s break it down. Title track ‘Funkay’ is a heady mix of pounding drums and slick bars that drop like a stone through treacle. Philip Bader is all about personality. A true character to meet in person, he manages to convey that charisma into his music, both as a DJ and producer. Like the man himself, his music doesn’t take things too seriously. It is playful, wildly groovy and effortlessly underground. Previous outings on Davide Squillace’s This and That Lab, Saved Records, Dirtybird, Highgrade, Hive Audio and his own Dantze imprint to name just a few have highlighted his dexterity when it comes to producing club bombs, but it is through seeing him DJ in a club that really highlights the Berliner’s raw energy and passion for the scene. It is that enthusiasm that shines through all of Bader’s work and makes him the character that he is today. 2015 sees a true legend make his full debut on Out Of Mind Records, a label he has himself founded and will be curating. OOM002 sees the arrival of raw talent and familiar name Onno bringing his unique brand of muscular low end bass lines, against a no nonsense approach towards killer swinging grooves and heavy hip hop influences to the table.

Our Debut Transmission today comes from the joining Onno with the ever popular Ninetoes for a killer remix for the A side. From the word go, a robust 4/4 beat thrusts us into an industrial, organic energy ready for a coarse adventure into a truly defining remix. Far from his brightly glaring summer hit ‘Finder’, this dark track is to be locked far away from the sun, and taken into the dark basements of a chilling European winter night.
