"UNSTR005 - Loui Cleghorn - Leaving View
Unstrung returns with a single from label head Loui Cleghorn, a transient, melodic acid song called 'Leaving View'. The track is inspired by continuously moving landscapes and environments which are symbolised by shifting acid bass lines and synths expanding, compressing and moving between reverberated percussion. The remix for this release comes from a fast rising producer we've been wanting to add to the roster for a while.
Acutek has accomplished a lot in the short space of time he has been producing and DJing from a base in the Highlands of Scotland. He has racked up a number of releases on imprints such as Gibbon, Unknown Territory and hit # 1 on the Beatport hard techno charts with an EP on Biotech Recordings. His take on the track is situated in a more modern techno world. Maintaining the acid lines from the original, here we have a more driving bass and atonal progression to give a much meaner, less mysterious vibe to the EP."
