Recently we've released "Destinations" EP, an overwhelimg diverse EP. But Alli Borem is not only gifted producer. 
He's a great DJ as well.

With his new single ‘Goiânia’ out now on Cadenza, it seems the appropriate time to invite Davide onto the podcast, and to let us hear a glimpse of his current club sounds in the Cycle mix, and some of his influences and home listening on the Source mix.

Davide is the Italian DJ and producer behind the This And That Lab and Hideout imprints.  His production career has spanned across two decades and he has recorded for labels like Ovum, M_nus, Supernature and his own Sketch Music.  His DJ schedule remains as busy as ever, taking in such clubbing institutions as Fabric, DC10, Space, and many more, as well as regular appearances on the festival circuit.

As seemingly everybody that owns a computer is a producer these days, we understand that it can be a little daunting exploring new artists. Luckily, here at Data Transmission, we are on an endless mission to sort the wheat from the chaff and bring you the most exciting new acts that you really do need to hear.

One such man, who has made rather a lot of noise in his debut year, is Astro Zu. This young Londoner popped out a handful EPs on Bad Life in 2014 to much critical acclaim; his blend of R&B, hip hop and soulful soundscapes standing out from the pack.

Despite being locked away in the studio working on his debut LP (due out early 2015), Astro managed to put together an exclusive mix for us to show off his inventive and intriguing sound.
