When you're talking about techno, few names have been innovating and evolving as much as Robert Hood. When he's not running things over at M-Plant, he can be found touring the festival circuit with his live show and releasing tonnes of fresh new material.

Today we concentrate on his more melodic alias and under the name Floorplan, Hood has released a stunning album showcasing a slightly different yet equally strong sound.

A new EP is set to drop featuring two re-edits of tracks that appeared on his Floorplan album 'Paradise'. 'Phobia' and 'Never Grow Old' have been given a special Re-Plant and we have the premiere of the latter.

Hot Creations deliver ‘Words Gone’, the first single from the forthcoming artist album ‘Love Somebody’ by Parisian luminary Popof.

Featuring the handsome voice of Arno Joey, ‘Words Gone’ is a stunning slice of electronic music with crossover appeal, giving us a taster of what is in store for the album. Cadenza boss Luciano’s remix dives into tribal percussion, while main man Jamie Jones flips into a new gear, introducing a new melody, deep pads and emotive keys. Canadian techno legend Marc Houle is last to remix, using a bright synth melody to add a new groove.

Voted Best Newcomer artist at the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2009, Popof has gained notoriety for his work with Cocoon, and remixing the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, and Moby. One of the most downloaded artists in techno music, he was appointed the official mentor of the Paris Techno Parade 2013's fifteen year anniversary, a great honour he shared in front of 300.000 participants.

One of the biggest names in dance music, Luciano has released on labels such as Perlon, Transmat and Lo-Fi Stereo. Aside running Hot Creations, Hot Trax and Paradise, Jamie Jones is this year launching his new imprint Emerald City alongside Lee Foss. Another huge name in the business, live artist Marc Houle can be found on imprints such as Richie Hawtin’s Minus and his own Items & Things.

Pleasurekraft are gearing up to ship a new EP on Kraftek called ‘3x3’, and we’re bringing you the first listen of Tiger Stripes’ remix of ‘One Last High’.

The original, a deep techy number, first appeared on Pleasurekraft’s 2014 ADE compilation ‘The Garden of Earthly Delight's’, but Tiger Stripes has given it the solid remix treatment, transforming it into big, bleak house roller that’s a perfect peak time weapon.

Citizenn brilliant Tied single gets the remix treatment from Murk, Adesse Versions and Denney, a superb remix package to compliment the sublime original. 

‘Tied’ is a trip into house’s classic years, raw with diva-esque vocals from Aisha and New York flavour. Remixes from the legendary Murk and re-edit champion, Adesse Versions cast their own flair and finesse on the original, while Hot Creations latest shooting star, Denney, delivers a driving classic house remix.

Murk have made a welcome return of late, and Oscar & Ralph have turned in something very special here. Evocative of their early work the sparse beats and vocals work to maximum effect. Hot on his Numbers release Adesse Versions deliver a brilliant sublime remix that effortlessly compliments the original and takes it that one step further, amazing. Finally Denney gets down and dirty and delivers a monster of a remix. Win win!!
