Our journey into space continues, and for the 26th release, we give the controls of our mothership to the Supernova. The Italian veterans have made house music a way of life, landing on labels like Defected, Moon Harbour, and 8Bit, not to mention their Lapsus Music. Now, they make their Bamboleo debut with 'Dance On The Moon' EP, served with a remix by Hungarian master Reelow. On the lead, the Florence-based pairs deliver a solid and rumbling original with all the craziness that has accompanied them for over two decades for a gnarly house anthem with a fat bassline, bold drum patterns, and dubby stabs throughout. Next, 'More Than Just A Record' dives into more minimal and deep territories with fast-skipping grooves, funky synths, and jackin bass tones for the perfect blend of raw energy and joyful vibes. Closing things off, Solid Grooves affiliate and Reecords label boss Reelow reworks the main track with his trademark harsh and twisted touch. His remix of 'Dance On The Moon' relies on elastic percussions, slippery splashes of hip-hop sounds, SCI-FI sounds, and edgy grooves for a banging interpretation that allows us to land on the moon safely.

Artslaves and Hito combine their skills on Lapsus Music for a terrific new two tracker that brings fresh house influences.

Artslaves head up their own prominent label Moan Recordings that has become one of the underground’s finest. Hito meanwhile hails from Japan but is based in Berlin and deals only in timeless and fresh house and tech fusions after long being resident at Richie Hawtin's ENTER.

Quit Tonight has a garage-style groove that is built on bouncing drums with raw, snappy snares. The bassline underpins it all and clipped vocals finish it in infectious style.

Supernova - Life Is A Disco ft Mr V. [Lapsus Music]

Lapsus Music label heads Supernova come next with a superb new EP Life is a Disco featuring a brace of brilliant house cuts.

Supernova are Emiliano Nencioni and Giacomo Godi, an Italian DJ and production duo that have over the last decade made the transition from rising stars to scene legends. They have mastered a wide range of styles with equal class and now once again come through with a standout new offering.

Life is a Disco goes first with the standout vocals of the legendary Mr V. His tender tones deliver in a hushed style that lends the cut real soul, while the lively drums bring disco energy and colour to house music energy. Art on the Road is a more stripped back house sound with smooth chords and icy percussion. It's heady and peppered with a touch of tribal style for those worldly dance floor moments.

These are two brilliant new cuts from this vital duo.

Chief is happy to announce the return of Murvin Sound at Chief Recordings! The French producer returned with two massive original tracks! The EP is finalized with remixes by Halfwerk and Prune Flat.
The first track of the EP is called “Handsback”, a solid tech house track with a heavy bass groove. Cool vocals and stomping drums finish this wicked track. Prune Flat provided a remix of the track “Handsback” and give it his own tech twist.
Second original track from Murvin Sound is called “This Is It”. This track contains wicked drums and an addictive bassline. Last but certainly not least, we got Halfwerk back on remix duties! He delivered a class remix of the track “This Is It”, filled with dark percussion riding on top of a stomping groove.

The forthcoming "Cocytus“ EP of Stuttgart based DJ/producer Hours is named for one of the five rivers of the underworld in the Greek mythology, also known as „river of wailing“. But make no mistake, if the Lehmann Club resident gets the remix treatment of CLR´s master(ing)mind Brian Sanhaji, there´s no reason for wailing at all...

The first release in 2017 on Stacey Pullen's Blackflag Recordings goes to one of Uruguay’s most promising DJ/Producers, Diego Infanzon and his ‘Dancin On’ EP.  

Stacey first shone a light on Diego back in 2014 when he released his ‘Get A Ride’ EP on Blackflag. Although he is still in the early years of his production career, Diego is continues to climb the ladder as an in demand producer.  Outside of production Diego has also made his mark by playing a key role in developing the electronic music scene in Uruguay via his ‘La Terraza’ events. By supporting local talent and inviting influential characters such as Stacey, and later this month Nic Fanciulli, ‘La Terraza’ has quickly become a staple to Uruguayan nightlife.
