Nolan returns to Connaisseur with the renowned actor Idris Elba on vocals for 'Children of House'. Idris is best known as Detective John Luther in the BBC One series Luther, and as Nelson Mandela in the biographical film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. He has been nominated for three Golden Globe Awards. Remix of Children of House by Of Norway and Timo Garcia.

Next up on Emerald City German duo Raumakustik serve up a sonic trip for the senses via ‘Dem A Pree’ with northern talents Patrick Topping and Jey Kurmis onboard to dish out two killer remixes.  
 
Following the huge summer anthem ‘Raider’ which dropped on Hot Creations subsidiary Hot Trax last year, Volker & Seb aka Raumakustik have been gaining an army of fans with releases following on Toolroom, Suara and Formatik. This next release, ‘Dem A Pree’ is a heavy club weapon of the highest order, prompted by dynamic and powerful vocals. “Pree means sticking your nose into someone else’s business,’ they explain. ‘Patrick Topping and Jey Kurmis did just that with our track but in this case it’s a positive thing because their perspectives on sound and vocals made it complete.”
 
Since his first release on Hot Trax back in 2013, Patrick Topping has since become one of the biggest names in the business with an intense touring schedule, a string of successful releases and a prized residency at Jamie’s Paradise night at DC10. Here he spins his signature style into the original with an intoxicating bassline that will shake any dance floor. 
 
Rising star Jey Kurmis has been making a name for himself on labels such as Moon Harbour, VIVa Music and Wow! Recordings since his artist defining EP on Hot Creations last year. Stripping the original back he creates a solid, low slung roller with industrial stabs at the forefront.

Production duo Mark Richards & James Eliot aka Solardo are the next to make their mark on Hot Creations with ‘Tribesmen’, delivering two heavy-duty cuts destined to stir serious heat in the club.

Already doing the rounds worldwide at the hands of some of the biggest names in the business, ‘Tribesmen’ and ‘Psycho Girlfriend’ are built straight for the dancefloor around dense and heavy basslines, punchy percussion and prominent vocal slices.

Hailing from Manchester, Solardo are continuing the city’s rich heritage in house music whilst carving out their own sound in the house and techno scene with releases on Madtech, MTA Records and more recently Of Unsound Mind. Their string of successful releases has gained them an army of fans across the board from Jamie Jones to Jackmaster. The pair also run a weekly radio show on Rinse FM and are residents of the well known Kaluki party as well as running their own successful event series, Solardo Sessions.

Hot Creations are launching a new ‘Paradise on Earth’ DJ Mix series with the first instalment coming as a Mexico special from Paradise residents and label regulars Nathan Barato and Patrick Topping. Each mix is expertly crafted, fusing musical influences with exclusive new material alongside current favourites for your listening pleasure. 
 
The first CD comes from Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato, an artist that has been on the rapid rise with releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved, Circus Records, Defected and of course Hot Creations. Barato’s mix kickstarts with the sonorous opening of Derrick Carter’s ‘Where You at?’ soon venturing into big dancefloor movers like Moritz Piske ‘Dirt Cabana’ and Makam’s ‘Loletta’. Nathan explains, "This is the first compilation I've done, so I was nervous and excited when building the tracklist. I wasn't inclined to make a mix that was only bombs ...I wanted to express myself and show a different side of my sound.” 
 
UK talent Patrick Topping has cemented his status as one of the most in demand names in dance music and this year completing his third summer as resident at DC10 in Ibiza for Paradise. Here Patrick showcases the sound and style of his sets with hi-energy from the word go. “This was my first time putting together a licensed mix and it was such a fun project. Most the tracks are older but I was also luckily enough to include some of my favourite unreleased tracks of the moment. Thanks to Oli Furness, Jack N Jerk, Sean Miller & Elliot Adamson for letting me use these. There are also 3 brand new productions of mine in here.” - Patrick Topping
 
Since label head and visionary Jamie Jones began his Paradise night at DC10 in Ibiza five years ago, the night has gone on to be by far one of the biggest on the island, inviting the biggest names in the business to come play alongside his solid crew of talented friends and residents. The launch of the new mix series is a natural progression for the brand as the Hot Creations and Paradise empire continues to grow only stronger.

Tuff London - The Gospel Truth

Timo Garcia & Enzo Siffredi will offer up their new collaborative EP ‘Sonny’ this August via MadTech Records, back with a remixes from Nolan.

Tim Belcher, better known to most as Timo Garcia has a long standing in electronic music having been releasing material since the early noughties and his material being championed by household names such as Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Timo Maas and M.A.N.D.Y to name but a few. Here we see Tim joining Enzo Siffredi, following releases for Defected and Suara, to release their collaborative record ‘Sonny’ and a solo cut from Timo on Madhouse Records offshoot MadTech.

Taking the lead is the original mix of ‘Sonny’ from the duo, employing organic percussion, pulsating sub bass and progressive arpeggios alongside Prema’s hooky, soulful vocal stylings.

The ‘Nolan Dub’ follows and offers a constrasting aesthetic, tipping the focus over to dreamy soundscapes, heady bass drones and metallic percussion hits whilst the originals fluttering arp and sporadic vocal lines ebb and flow throughout the composition. The ‘Nolan Remix’ then steps up afterwards to stir in more of Prema’s vocals.

Lastly Timo offers up the solo contribution to the release ‘Stranger Times’ adding a darker edge to things via menacing acidic synth tones, dubby swells and chanting vocals before the latter stage introduces spiralling chord sequences.

As ADE approaches, Lapsus Music uses the opportunity to showcase the breadth and depth of their sound. The label, run by Italian pair Supernova, deals in an infectious house and tech style and with more than 200 releases under its belt, is a real bastion of modern day dance floor quality. Across 12 tracks here they welcome artists old and new and each one excels.
Things kick off with Technogot by Roog and Leon Benesty. It&rsquo;s a tense and rolling cut with spraying synths to get you on your toes. Sante Sansone serves up the breakout revivalism of The Dance, Salamanda goes for a deep and naughty bass house tune in Wrong Is Right and Fex comes correct with So Give It Up.
Elsewhere This One is an explosive little house cut with big hi hats and rasping bassline overlaid with curious vocals and chunky house kicks prop up If You Feel by Dilby. For dirtier tracks the likes of Bandwidth by Gerry Gonza and Juany Bravo are essential and in the latter half Maltese star Carl Bee fires up the engines with his peak time Got Me Thing.
Team Radio, Timo Garcia and Jacopo Susini then closes things out with a nice trio pop varied and vital tech cuts that are designed for different moments in the night. All in all this marks out Lapsus Music as an on print label that is always evolving and snapping up the freshest new artists.
