A DJ/producer at the forefront of Ecuador’s growing electronic music landscape, Quito’s Carloh is already bringing his own sound forged and based on his Andean roots and heritage to a global audience.

Dropping impactful EPs on Solid Grooves, Hot Creations, Moon Harbour, and Loco Dice’s Desolat, the young and promising artist has forged an impressive list of supporters - one which he looks set to build on further as he lines up another landmark EP. Stepping up for the third release on the label, September brings a new invite from Dice to his SB Recordings imprint as he delivers a pair of rumbling productions across his "Cancerbero" EP.

"Guatagueh (Damelo Ma Mix)" is a vibrant production that still packs a serious punch, with rich organ melodies joining rolling organic drums, slinking hats and vocal interjections for a fun yet dynamic offering. Switching things up, the title cut "Cancerbero (Muchas Gracias Mix)" is an energy-drenched, no-nonsense production laced with sneaky, twisting percussion grooves and chunky bass licks, while the dominant vocal shouts at the heart of the track build to and add further drive and commotion.

In anticipation of Pacha Fest, ANOTR revs the amplitude up with a special podcast of sweaty house jams. Joining this summer's bill at the festival are artists such as Kenny Dope, Danny Wade, Claptone, Prunk, and many more.

Consisting of 21 year olds Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney, ANOTR are an Amsterdam-based duo that have set tech-house oriented releases on labels such as Armada Music, Defected Records, and DFTD. Despite their tender age, ANOTR have played on summer festival hotspots in Ibiza, Amsterdam's ADE, and graced plenty more internationally acclaimed clubs and venues.

The South African phenomenon Black Coffee has become well known in recent years due to his impeccable blend of house, infused with African culture and vibes. In 2012, ‘Buya’ was released featuring the stunning vocalist Yoshi.  The track went platinum in Africa in 2 months, bringing Black Coffee into the international spotlight. Now, Get Physical has taken the reigns and handed the track over to Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y. and Da Cappo for their remix wizardry.  

Loco Dice who has African roots spends his proceeds of the EP for the development of the new website, and the donation campaign for the Kliptown Youth Centre in Soweto, South Africa, a non-profit project that provides hope through tutoring, athletic, music and arts programs.  The returns will go to helping the heroes of the Kliptown Youth Center in Soweto, South Africa, giving kids a chance to create and express themselves whereas they might not have had that chance before. The youth is our future, and right now they need our help and support.

Sasha continues to make this year his own as he drops his debut EP on Watergate, ‘GameOvr’. The EP features two original tracks, including the long-awaited ‘Trigonometry’, and first class remixes from Cassy and La Fleur.

After his recent critically acclaimed sell-out live shows at the Barbican and his ‘Out Of Time’ EP on Kompakt, not to mention gearing up for his RESISTANCE residency with John Digweed in Ibiza, Sasha officially confirms his debut release on Watergate Records.

‘Trigonometry’ has been a highlight in Sasha’s sets in recent months and has sparked many a heated debate online, from excited pleas for a Track ID, to urgent demands for a release date. The track is as ethereal as it is compelling, constantly building up to the sublime break down and those iconic chords that have left ravers spellbound worldwide. Swedish born Berlin-based La Fleur puts her stamp on the remix, keeping the riff but adding gravitas with a rhythmic bassline. She’s fast become a key player on the house and techno circuit, with a string of releases on the likes of Cocoon, Watergate, and Sasha’s own Last Night On Earth imprint.

‘GameOvr’ shows the producer’s tougher side; a strong techno track in keeping with Sasha’s constant focus on the future, always exploring new directions, though his signature groove is still on board. Revered Panorama Bar resident Cassy, whose stunning album ‘Donna’ was one of 2016’s outstanding releases, turns her hand to remixing the title track, delivering a harder edged driving cut with a heavier kick drum, echoing chords and hypnotic percussion.

This EP marks yet another creative landmark in this, one of the most fruitful and exciting phases in Sasha’s distinguished career.

Sasha - Trigonometry (La Fleur)

Innovative duo Catz 'n Dogz have payed homage to the iconic Marlena Shaw vocal from 'Woman Of The Ghetto' by remixing the track with hard-hitting rhythm and a welcomed dose of acid.

In their own words, Catz 'n Dogz describe how the vocal is easily recognizable due to the St.Germain record ‘Rose Rouge’, but some may not be aware that the original hook is from a live performance by Marlene Shaw. 

“It’s been sampled by a lot of other people like Bob Sinclar, Grandmaster Flash and the famous 90s hit from Blue Boy. We have a lot of memories with this vocal because we were growing up in the 90s. That’s why we decided to do our take on this one. The first time we played it on a big festival we were shocked how well it works… That’s why we decided to release it officially."

September is already here and elrow Music is keeping the summer vibes alive with its latest delivery, this time in the hands of Germany͛s KlangKuenstler. The uber-talented, Berlin-based DJ and producer delivers an outstanding ERM112 that goes by the name of ͚Pop Dem Bottles EP͛. This three-tracker is full of reference to that 90s-influenced sound that is hitting so hard right now in dancefloors all over the world, and surely will do the same with elrow Music͛s crowds in the months to come. Opening the EP we have the track naming this Extended Play, ͚Pop Dem Bottles (Original Mix)͛, a track with clear reference to 90͛s rappers with its vocal line, a playful bassline and a techy, broken percussion that will tear up some dancing shoes amongst the b-boys in the dancefloor. Then we have ͚House Your Body (Original Mix)͛, a more tech-house song that starts with high energy, a heavy but steady percussion, and some amazing synth play, with a peak time vibe that will make crowds go crazy, also with a high dose of hip-hopish influences in its vocal line. Closing this EP we have ͚Girlfriend Mentions (Original Mix)͛, a track with a slower start that builds itself around some horn sounds and its vocal line, with a more electric kinda vibe, infused with a great synth and FX treatment, and leaning towards a more techno energy. All in all, this ERM112 by the unpronounceable KlangKuenstler is a beast by own right and will for sure tear up many dancefloors with its 90͛s infused energy and high overall quality.
