Database have put their disco house world takeover on a steadily accelerating pace. With "For President," they make the case for why they should have your vote for global dance music presidents in 2016. Complete with an EP's worth of remixes from F82, Sugar Hill, and Drunky Daniels, as well as a raucous music video that takes the viewer through the history of Database, "For President" is a house music happening that demands bearing witness. Their full-length album debut, Vivid Exposition, is coming this April on Life On Planes.

Legendary Ibiza Dj Pippi as one of the very first Ibiza residents he managed to claim a prominent spot in the global house scene. He truly is one of the creators of that distinct Ibiza sound that is loved and respected worldwide

Dj Pippi started to become known in musical circles in Ibiza, and one of his tapes was picked up by the management of "Pacha", who realised that this young Italian was the right person to make "Pacha" an unmissable venue in the disco circuits of the world. The disco's owners flew to Germany without hesitation to offer him the contract that would change his life.
Dj Pippi has worked two different stints in "Pacha". The first time was between 1984 and 1987, and the second one started in 1991 – and he is still playing there for special events. Amid these two stints, DJ Pippi signed a contract to work in the disco "Ku" (today’s "Privilege"). So this DJ has been playing records for more than 25 years. It is a job that takes up most of the year, as in summer he is one of the institutions of Ibiza, and during the winter he travels the world playing music on all five continents, thanks to bookings he receives through his booking agency Music Ibiza.

Today we see the return of Eagles & Butterflies, the London-born and LA-based producer who has had one of the most intensive release schedules at the moment, but keeping quality consistent with each new cut. As is the case in his latest studio endeavour going by the name "Murder Was The Bass EP". Premiering here is Fireworks, a dance floor filler that instantly drew our attention.

‘Py shows massive promise’ – Q Magazine

After releasing her astounding mixtape ‘Tripping On Wisdom’ which featured collaborations with the likes of George Fitzgerald, Throwing Snow, Breton and Raffertie last year, Py returns with the long-awaited follow up, ‘Polyethers’, produced by Maths Time Joy and released via Champion Records on 30th June.

A song about being so in tune with someone you love you ride the same emotional cycle together through romance and nostalgia via the testing times, ‘Polyethers’ marks the next natural musical step for Py. Showcasing her vocal depth and tone, ‘Polyethers’ is an epic love song, complete with soul-tinged harmonies; both emotionally grand and understated in all its bittersweet subtleties.

Fresh from his groundbreaking Jamie Lidell remix, from Berlin based DJ/ Producer Jimmy Edgar (Warp/!k7/Hotflush) on the flip, Py has effortlessly managed to retain her contemporary electronic sound and clear artistic vision, rooted deep through ‘Tripping On Wisdom’, whilst simultaneously showcasing her impressively versatile, pop-spattered voice.

Since completing a debut headline UK tour late last year as well as support for the likes of Fenech Soler on their the recent sold-out tour, Py has developed a full live show in the past few months.

With support as diverse as Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank, Mixmag, Dazed & Confused, FACT and The Guardian and with further releases to drop on Champion, as well as forthcoming live dates and collaborations with Supreme Cuts through the latter half of 2013, Py is one artist set to stick around for a long time yet. Make sure you also watch out for her Red Bull Introducing session set to drop in late May.

From São Paulo, Brazil, Database is a DJ/producer duo, made up of two childhood friends, Yuri Chix, and Lucio Morais. 

Their quirky, fun sense of humor always finds its way into their sun drenched dj sets, mixes, and recordings. The duo originally emerged as an integral part of the bloghaus scene of the late 2000's, scoring collaborations with The Twelves, Mark Ronson, FatBoy Slim, French Horn Rebellion, Is Tropical, Citizens! and more, with multiple releases on Kitsuné and Southern Fried. 

Since then, they have been playing clubs and festivals around the world, and are well loved residents in the São Paulo disco and house scene. The two can be found on a rooftop, or beachside party, dj decks in front, caipirinhas in hand, nearly every day of the week.
