 A kid that grew up in the rough streets of South Central Los Angeles. Trying to steer away from all the negativity in the hood, he sought out for a better future and found that light when picking up the guitar and discovering more to music than just Hip-Hop. After being in the Thrash/Metal scene for a while and playing with many bands, he needed more, feeling that there was more than what he was accustomed to . When he heard Daft Punk he knew that was it. after digging deeper and discovering Stardust, Crookers, Ducksauce, Chromeo, Justice, Crystal Castles, MSTRKRFT, and Wolfgang Gartner (to name a few) at local warehouse party's, he knew it was the sound he was looking for. Now fully immersed into the  EDM scene @DataCrux is experimenting with every sub-genre in EDM but eventually wants to use all his influences (Hip-hop, Thrash, Classic Rock) and incorporate them into his music to make a unique sound that he will soon try and expose.

Born and raised in the City of Angels. I'm here to make it big from all angles. No games. Just real moves. No lames and no rules.  Shout out to all that fuck with me. . Born and raised in the tough streets of South Central Los Angeles, B-Cryptik became fascinated with music at a very young age. Music was his only escape from the dark reality he lived. Homeless with a single mother and siblings, survival was an every day struggle. Sleeping from relatives couches to strangers floors to sneaking into and getting kicked out of motel rooms meant for a single person and not 6 kids. The Jessie Owens park bench on Century & Western was considered home. Once settled into a government home B-Cryptik began writing rap and Hip-Hop lyrics to instrumental intros and outros from his favorite artist such as KRS-ONE, Suga Free, Das EFX, Snoop Dogg, Eric B. & Rakim, The Game, Mack 10, Too $hort, DJ Quick, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg and Korupt to name a few. His style stems a lot from Nipsey Hussle meets Rick Ross. Now fully into the Hip-Hop/Rap scene, B-Cryptik is here to pay homage to the original Hip-Hop and rap while paving his own orignal path. success.

L*I*F*E* stands for anything and everything you want it to mean but mostly stands for (Life Is Fucking Epic) and the asterisk at the end stands for eternity/endless/infinity just like how life will always go on after we all pass.
