"IRL" is a longform Ambient exploration. It was inspired by a conversation with my son. My thoughts evolved around life right now, last year, and back when I was his age. The track's foundation was composed and performed live on a Modular Synthesizer as one continuous take. The resulting 40-minute recording was enhanced with smaller fragments and bigger pieces, but at its core it still represents that very moment in time. It's spontaneous, soothing, and playful, yet noisy, challenging, and somewhat dissonant. It is a snapshot of real life. Thank you for listening.

Originally known as "Sapporo", Vittorio started now to release music under the alias "Vittorio" pushing lo-fi and classic sounds.

His production style is entwined in club culture and raving, driven by powerful grooves and analog machines, all with a unique underground approach.
Vittorio's new EP on Taste Rec. is the result of his new musical vision: 3 tracks delivering contemporary Deep House full of in-your-face kicks, solid basses, floating hi-hats, atmospheric pads and a mixture of acidy and smooth synths.

A very long mix and the best one out of 5 i made based around words from a swedish meteorologist (Martin Hedberg) who has written a book called “extreme weather”. He is talking about a 1,5 degrees celsius warmer global climate compared to the ice age when the temperature was 3 degrees colder. 25 minutes of a synth odyssey here. I don’t have permission to use these samples so may have to remove it or ask for permission eventually. Another chapter in my ongoing series of studio ambient mixes (not recorded live, produced over at least a month). This one is extra special for me as the title alludes to the fact that 2021 means I have been working in sound design for a decade. To help celebrate, I designed this new psychedelic journey, and layered it with field recordings from my collection of SFX I have captured going all the way back to my first upload folder from summer 2011. 

The track selection plays out like an anthology of some of the most talented ambient/sound design producers, blending eras and approaches ranging from pillars such as Biosphere, Stars of the Lid, and William Basinski - alongside emerging producers like Green-House and Zeze Wakamatsu. Molding everything together is a constantly shifting foundation of found sounds. The listener begins literally floating downstream as one subtle aquatic effect dissolves into another for the opening fifteen minutes. I also included many of my favorite audio finds including air traffic controllers, vintage game shows, NASA communications, nature documentaries, and religious A.M. radio hosts to list a few.

As a special bonus and thank you: I am pledging a $5 donation for every 350 plays of this mix* to Coalition for the Homeless (based in NYC)(*for the first 10,000 plays).

Celestial Observations Teaser (Before & After Silence Recordings)

This piece was composed to accompany the photo series Night Symphony by photographer Penelope Thomaidi. The series is set in the 19th district of Paris, one of the city's most densely populated areas. This piece uses field recordings from this area and it was meant to be played in a continuous loop.

Night Symphony

Brillman has been an electronic online musician during the last 20 years using many different names: Brillman, Controlfreak, freakcontrol, Red Karma, Atmosphere, Zero Loop, Pan64, Randomcontrol, geometric delay and Superfreak! Brillman mainly creates original sounds from hardware synths but also uses guitar, samplers, vocals or even poetry. He primarily utilizes a 4 to the floor approach. The aesthetics behind the music is about finding a balance between minimalism vs. depth & improvisation vs. programmed.
