Hailing from leicester east mids now living in Birmingham Data…. came from the underground Garage scene at the age of 15. Data first started out experimenting with recording vocals in his friends bedroom.
He then started getting cassette tapes from other friends that where interested in garage mix tapes, at the time who gave him tapes to listen to which then progressed to him recording vocals at soft touch studios where he created his style, by making beats using logic and reason.
In 2007 Data released his first e.p entitled Self-Catering which he sold independently off his own back and got feedback from friends an peers.
Data has made his mark by winning the Best homegrown track of the week on Ras kwames show on 1xtra and has performed alot around the east mids such as the Abbey park festivals,The shed,YMCA, and also some spots in london.
He is now on a level 3 course at leicester college studying Creative music producer stage 3 and he has completed his first two years already.
Data is always making new material but is now focused on the business side of things of his music he is putting out their and is using the course he is on to give him a plat form in his musical work.
His style is described as real to the point electro and grime mixed with a little dub step and his punch lines are very charismatic and cheeky. you can now download all material on iTunes spotify and all other digital platforms.
