In the first installment, Phantom Pursuit on the Stellar Frontier, the ghost of the legendary Death Racer returned to haunt the roads of New Arcadia and put an end to Vance Delacroix’s mad ambitions. With the help of journalist Lana Summers, he destroyed the Stellar Stone and restored a fragile balance in a city consumed by corruption. But peace is only a mirage. In the smoking ruins left behind by Delacroix, a new chaos rises. And in this new world, the roads have never been more dangerous.

1. Embers of a Name / Chapter I — The Return
Weeks have passed since Death Racer vanished. But some claim to have seen him again, on the old Route 66-R, south of the Dust Vale sector. Something prowls out there. Not a ghost. A man. Or what’s left of one. A black vehicle, caked in ash, cuts through the scorched land in search of a name long forgotten. His own.
He drives alone, in silence, haunted by voices from the past. The victory over Delacroix left a crack in the world, and in himself. He knows it’s not over. New Arcadia wasn’t saved. It was dismantled. And in the void that remains, a new threat is forming.
