This is a giveaway. No making money here. The whole point of this project is to bring us together more as a community and to allow us to spread our wings as artists. No specific styles are necessary, if you make sound, share it. If it is cool, it will find its way onto the mixtape. 

The mixtape is a misrepresentation. It will be digital.

Well, to be clear again, we are not shooting for any particular style or sound, or BPM. These modern mixtapes we have been listening to are everything from folk to prog metal, to tech/IDM to classical. Shit is all over the map. But it is all mixed together well and creates very interesting contrasts and implications. So we are not making a compilation really, like individual tracks that just mix into each other with fades. We would like to see the DJ's as well be very creative. Mixing songs together where it is appropriate, like a mash-up, or mixing multiple tracks interweaving out of each other. It depends on the content, the different tracks we all send in, but that is the idea. 

We need ambiance, environments, spoken word, massive lengthy synth or guitar leads. As well as structured songs of various tempos and styles. This whole experiment is not just for us, or the audience that downloads it, but for the DJs as well. Spread your wings and show us what you can do with sound.
